Hardly suprising, he's constantly injured this kid.

Every time he has a run in the side you know whats coming. If it wasnt at AFCON, it would have been here anyway.

This myth again! He's had two injuries for Forest! One long-term hamstring injury last season and one freak elbow injury in pre-season. Name me another? Here's his appearances this season (he was suspended for the Palace game, not injured):

Genuinely don't understand where this idea comes from, but it's unfair and not at all based in reality.

He limped off in the Villa away game last season, can't remember how long or if he was out after that.

That'll be because he got the serious hamstring injury, went off with Senegal played, and got injured again for the same injury (exacerbated it) which put him out for 200+ days total, he then got the elbow injury, and now he's gone off with Senegal and has gone off injured. It's hardly surprising people assume he's going to get injured when he goes off with Senegal

In 18 months or 500ish days he's spent around 250 of these injured.

But almost all of that is one injury. Any player can get a serious injury that puts them out for months, doesn't mean they're 'always getting injured'.

At a guess I'd say he's played about half the games the first team have played whilst he's been at the club.

Not exactly sparkling; he needs to up his game.

Just to correct a miss-reporting of the latest injury:
1 he didn't get stretchered off (I posted that he did after reading it on line elsewhere);
2 He was limping a bit, but left the pitch unaided.
3 It isn't a dislocation of both elbows: it is a knock on his ankle.

But he "came back" and it reappeared, 1 injury can make you a biscuit too. He did as stated earlier get injured at other games where he had to go off, but came back quickly.

But there's no evidence that that injury has made him a biscuit, because apart from the freak elbow injury which could have happened to anyone, he's barely missed a minute since.

Hopefully this is the case, and hopefully the ankle injury isn't too bad.

Transfermarkt does have his only other injury down as a thigh injury, so it would be interesting to know if it the same thigh injury.
People can just get unlucky, Cohen got 2 consecutive ACLs in different knees which ruined his career.

Different times but it was an ACL which ended Brian Clough's playing days.

Cohen either had something fundamentally wrong with his knees or was just unlucky to get 3 ACLs, 2 in one knee and 1 in the other. It's quite a bad injury to get one, but to get multiple injuries and in both knees it's not surprising he never really came back from it at all.

In some aspects a break is a much better injury in terms of healing, it can be pinned if it's bad enough, and will usually repair without much complication, a muscle or tendon injury if it's bad often isn't the same again. If we look at someone like Alan Smith who broke his leg but also badly dislocated his ankle in that free kick, the injury changed his career because it took a lot of his pace, it's only down to his intelligence as a player that he was able to adapt to another position.

Don't think there are too many who have come back from multiple ACLs.

I’ve had two ACL reconstructions in my right knee and I blame them for me not being having a decent career as a professional footballer. That and a lack of application. And talent.

Yep definitely out. Didn’t even make the squad for Senegal’s victory. The way forward has to be Murillo and Omabamidele (however you spell it) and Boly.
