Not having that-I think he done ok. The issue is for me that Murillo and Omo are too similar-both more athletic and cover the ground centre half’s. Ideally need a boly/Filipe/ old fashioned put your head in centre half, to partner one of them.

Hope the lady he took out in the trent end is ok. To be fair to moose he checked twice she was ok and she got his gloves and a shirt.

They scored but it wasn’t a glaring error. Yates contribution was questionable-as Omo is perhaps thinking if he cuts inside Yates will deal with danger. Then did Seles get a hand to it. On top of it that it was good play and a great goal. Yes we should have defended better but it was some goal

Yates is what really pissed me off there, did f*** all when he could’ve kicked the hell out of the ball.

It was a bit of an odd one really. Yates came across to help him out which is fine but by then being there it just changes Andy O's thinking because he then thinks Yates is taking charge when he cuts back in.

I'd have to watch the goal back again, and take nothing away from the Wolves' lad - it was an exceptional solo goal. But Omabimadele did almost everything right. He didn't dive in, he stayed on his feet, he showed the attacker away from goal and allowed for help to come in the form of Yates. For me, Yates has to do better as the striker turns into him. It was his challenge to make. As the last man, Omanimadele did his job.

I actually jumped out of my bed cursing at Yates when I saw this happened live, absolutely f**ked Oma.

Yates coming in at that angle is asking for trouble. Especially inside the box. For me there's no way Omo is turned if Yates doesn't come and get in the way.

Omobamidele has already got his body facing the wrong way in that picutre before Yates gets there.

Agree Yates should have gone inside but he's gone to make the tackle thinking Omo has him.

Should have stopped him on half way regardless.

Omobamidele also poorly ball watching for their 2nd.

Nah Omo got done, took a step too far and got twisted the wrong way. Yates' should always go inside there. Poor on both accounts but it gets stuck on Yates.

Yeah, I think Yates hindered things.

I wasn't absolving Omo of any blame and I agree he went a yard too far as he should have continued showing him to the by-line. What Yates did wrong is by also engaging the same space, he should have tucked inside to help protect the box on the event he got past Omo

What is he doing for both goals yesterday?

Serious issues with his level of effort. Don't know why Omo has lost his place for this guy.

Omobamidele has a serious weakness. Prior games emphasize his weak positional and tactical awareness, leaving the defender in the incorrect location to man-mark, prevent shots, or make last second tackles. Whether this is down to match sharpness, Nuno's tactics or Murillo's influence unsure but currently a real liability. Niakhete is the complete opposite, he's normally dependable emphasizing why Cooper rated him highly,

BTW The First Goal was conceded as Gvardiol moved rapidly away from his marker Gibbs-White and Williams being tended for a injury left the defence a man down. The second goal was a slight error by Murillo, which allowed Haarland to wrong-foot and side-step him, thus his show of annoyance.

Erm what?

For the first goal Murillo loses the header at the front post, that is Murillo's zone, if the ball comes in that area it is for him to clear. f*** all to do with Moussa.

The second goal Murillo gets turned inside out by Haaland (after injuring himself a few minutes earlier). Again how are you pinning this on Moussa?

I thought he had a good game.

It's amazing what him and Boly brought in terms of composure in the defensive line. We've missed them both massively whilst we've persisted with Omobamidele I'm afraid (appreciate though Boly was injured and Niakhate perhaps not chosen in order to avoid two left footers).

Wasn't pinning either goals on him.

Just look what he's doing for both goals though.

It's fine if you can't see it. No one agreed with me re the Villa game either.
