I don't think it's a permanent thing, I just think that's what has seen him out of the team currently.

He's also left footed - with so much of our play starting from him he ain't displacing Murillo, and he needs someone more dominant next to him, hence Boly/Felipe.

He's not injured is he, not even being on the subs bench 2 game running is cause for concern.

Hope Nuno hasn't made him the scape goat for the Villa performance after not playing him in his normal position. Alienating players unfairly is only going to end up biting you on the back side.

If we have to sell a few players I’d be looking at Niakhate. Not long left on his contract, so we’d receive most of the transfer fee.

He’s not better than Murillo or Boly (when fit) at LCB.

Him, Worrall and Mangala might be enough to see us clear for 23/24’s PSR. Rather than selling MGW or Murillo (unless they demand to leave).

If anyone is mental enough to buy Dennis, O’Brien and Vlachula…

We might as well try Richards at LB in pre-season. If he doesn’t perform we can sell him on. Abbey from Olympiakos in at CB.

Such a shame it seems to have gone south with Moussa. He has shown so much promise at points and there was a time I thought he would be part of the core that we'd build a team around. Seems a natural leader, too, and definitely cares.

I wonder what has gone on. Words exchanged perhaps after the Villa game? I hope it's not over for him here, there's a Premier League player in there for sure, he just needs the right partner and a bit of confidence.

Could just be as simple as he’s fallen behind Felipe and Omobamidele in the pecking order, and there’s only so many defenders you need on the bench when most players are fit. Especially at home against Palace. Saturday we had GK, LB, CB, RB, 2xCM, AM, Winger, Striker on the bench.

Doubt it, just behind our other left footed option. I suspect he was dropped for not being aggressive enough v Newcastle on that set piece goal that was allowed to bounce.

Boly's position would be probably ahead of the others because of the height he offers.

Probably last choice of our squad CBs at the moment.

If we sell Murillo in the summer, then chances are unless we actually bring in a replacement for him, he will get chances back in the LCB role next season

Well, he's first-choice backup (a bit of an oxymoron) at his position, considering Felipe's non-existence, so that's probably a bit much.

The left foot factor is something to consider too. Not ideal next to Murillo.
