When he gets home tonight, Garnacho will be afraid to open his wardrobe in case big Moussa jumps out at him.

Last three games Niakhate had done five or six Bobby Moore-esque stepping out blocks at crucial moments. He’s finally looking good rather than showing glimpses.
He's always been good. In my opinion Niakhate is inherently the best 'defender' Forest have. Other than Boly.

There's then a debate between Worrall, McKenna and Murillo.

Murillo is the most comfortable on the ball and the best at bringing the ball out from the back, but today he wasn't 100% either.

To be clear, I agree with all of that although I reckon he’s better than Boly but hasn’t been as consistent. Hopefully this is his consistent level now.

Maybe his inconsistency won't make him everyone elses cup of tea but I love him.

Aggressive, strong, quick - it's hard to find all those things in defenders. Really good game again today. Shame he is going to AFCON.
Agree with this.

If fit, he starts for me everytime.

Very classy display last night. The captain-esque sort of performance I’d said I’d like to see. If he can keep up this sort of level he’s a nailed on starter alongside Murillo and it’ll the soften the blow of Felipe’s unfortunate demise.
I must admit I do enjoy his mentality, he is always the first to get a team mate up after a mistake. He was the one encouraging Turner last night & even when we scored the winner it was him that applauded Turner for his save just before it.

He is the anti-Matt Mills.

And I remember when he came back from his bad injury last year, his first game back he threw away the point with his daft handball. Must have felt terrible after that but he kept going.

He was captain at Mainz. The value of these types cannot be underestimated, as long as they can play too.

Straight after that, he was on social media apologising to everyone, saying that it was a poor decision for him to make.
Thats the sort of leadership that gets you places.

He's definitely a good sort. I like him and hope to see him develop further under Nuno...

Had come in for some criticism recently but as we've seen recently he can be an asset at this level, and is capable of playing both sides well and all across a three.

I'm sick of our players getting injured in Africa. I hope if we manage to establish ourselves in the coming years we divert away from African players as our key personnel except for Taiwo and maybe Sangare if he's as good as £30m suggests.

Everyone else isn't worth the destabilisation going forward.

What a horrible day for the football club.
It's not a repeat of an old injury, which is good but I'm beginning to really dislike African Football and our players going there.
