Thank you Ray. I’m the archetypal glass-virtually-empty person - hopefully I’ll be pleasantly surprised, but if not, I’m prepared. But I don’t think I can prepare myself for all possible scenarios, you know?

I’ve a feeling that I am going to need the distraction Forest can provide for a couple of hours each week, so come on you Reds! 🔴🌳🔴

That feel-good mood around the club seems to have just faltered a little. If we are to stand a chance at staying in this division that togetherness is going to be so important;

It concerns me that it isn’t just the defence that is leaking.

The team news coming out today prior to official announcement is undermining to Steve.

His contract leak is also a bad sign.

Really is important to pull that feel good atmosphere back asap.

Concerns shouldn't manifest into weakness.

But that's what happens when people start panicking.

Owner should send a positive message out this week by getting Cooper to sign a new contract. Let's see some proper leadership, not just throwing money at everything.

Mood is I’m worrying about the 11 points. That’s all I care about at this point. Of course I want to stay up but for my own happiness I have become philosophical about that. I never expected to go up so if next year is a promotion battle after getting relegated that’s still infinitely better than the last 23 years. Let’s lay foundations and build the stadium.

So I’m worried but philosophical about it all. I’m not moaning in case anyone thinks I am.

The Spurs and Man City defeats were easy to swallow, today's was a choker!

Does anyone genuinely care about the 11 points? It's just banter, innit?

I agree, but to be fair we should also cut the big man a bit of slack-we've no evidence that he or any of his entourage are anything other that completely supportive of Cooper.

Just making a note of September 3rd as the day when the first rumblings of incompetent manager/owner posts start after one of the most remarkable seasons ever and a summer where the spending has only been eclipsed by some of the world's wealthiest clubs...

On another note, Cooper and the players need to retreat and lick their wounds over the next week, and remember what it was that got us to this point.

We don't play Leeds until Monday night now. We could be several points from safety by then, and it's not unlikely that we'll be bottom of the table the next time we kick a ball. Leicester have two shots at getting a win by then.

Our backs will be to the wall, and we'll need to come out fighting to show why we deserve to stay in this division.

It’s a simple game really ain’t it.
Suppose we owe a lot of players gratitude but there's no room for that if you're trying to avoid relegation.

I'm still happy, it still makes me smile when I see Forest in the prem table, regardless of position.

I'd keep Steve as long as possible, even if relegation happens*. This season should be about enjoying what we strive for and f**ked up for 23 years.

The mood is definitely a bit downbeat in Casa Poodle. Haven't really sunk into depression yet, but If I hadn't had a really good morning turning the compost bin, I'd be very unhappy.
