How is De Ketelaere playing?Bennacer equalises with a scorcher and he’s probably been Milan’s best player.
Coincidently he’s currently negotiating a contract renewal

The media coverage down here will be insufferable then. Having to listen to anything about Scottish football is the one and only thing that makes me want Sturgeon to succeed!Rangers and Celtic both make the Champions League group stage.
First time that's happened since 2007/08.
No matter how many times that poisonous old bag reduces the voting age to about 12 while showing Braveheart on a continuous loop on BBC Scotland it won't be enough to win an independence referendum that won't be granted anywayThe media coverage down here will be insufferable then. There might be something in this!I’m going early here but I’ve a feeling @Strummer will be front row centre from 2pm GMT tomorrow with bier in hand and not moving ( much) until 6-30pm, having taken in two top flight games
I wish I had a horse as certain ……6 pack of bier ……various salted snacks ……phone on silent…….job done. There might be something in this!
VfB away at Köln, followed by Forest against the Spuds.
My kind of Sunday Afternoon.
Interesting. Two places I have lived in Germany. I'm counting St Pauli as Hamburg though I did go to school in Altona so went through St Pauli every school day.I love watching the 2. Bundesliga sometimes.
Half time, St. Pauli 0, Paderborn 1
84 minutes, St.Pauli 1, Paderborn 1
92 minutes, St. Pauli 1, Paderborn 2
93 minutes, St. Pauli 2, Paderborn 2
Bonkers.
It is one stadium every football fan should try and visit.Apart from WFCG i think the Camp Nou takes some beating under lights
I read the other day they were discussing making the German championship a play off between either the top two, or the top four such is the expected continued dominance of Bayern. Not sure if it would work nor why its Bayerns fault they are so dominant. The model certainly does seem to benefit them and success breeds more supporters or "members" though. I have always wondered why they never publicly enquired about Haland. For those interested in the business-side of Football, the excellent @SwissRamble on Twitter has a detailed analysis of FC Bayern‘s recent financial performance, showing in stark terms how their enormous financial muscle gives them an almost-uncatchable advantage in the Bundesliga, and bankrolls their European campaigns:
It shows clearly how Bayern‘s business has grown, compared to other Bundesliga sides, and how their commercial income dwarfs that of the rest of the Bundesliga, and indeed many other top European sides.
A long thread, but a very worthwhile read.
Twatter so a no from me but it amazes me these German clubs like Schalke and Koln guarantee 50k at every game, huge fanbases but perform so badly overall. Must be run so badly.

Bayern‘s CEO (and former Goalkeeper) Oliver Kahn, has repeatedly said „It isn‘t our problem“ that they have more money than everyone else, and he is of course correct. He was also complaining recently that „only teams owned by Billionaires“ can compete in European football, and whilst he is probably correct there, if you look at Bayern‘s income compared to other European royalty, they don‘t do too badly, in comparison.I read the other day they were discussing making the German championship a play off between either the top two, or the top four such is the expected continued dominance of Bayern. I visited the Camp Nou on a non game day, truly impressive - but one of my abiding memories was seeing two guys shooting up heroin in a car as we walked up, the tour took a few hours and they were still there passed out in the car and on the pavement as we left...It is one stadium every football fan should try and visit.
Lewandowski is filling his boots again tonight!
