I got very lucky visited a couple of times non match day,

but first game was Catalan Derby 4-0 Messi all four, Pep’s last game.

that season Messi got 50 league goals and in the 90’s across the calendar year.

So FC Vaduz, from the Swiss 2nd division have made the Europa League group stages.

They get into qualification by winning the Leichenstein Cup, which they have won 50 times in 60 years.

Had me thinking, what is stopping the Welsh teams in the English league system from entering the Welsh Cup and getting into the European qualifiers that way. Surely that is better than being in the FA / League Cup?

Because the League of Wales has a route into European competition. Liechtenstein has no league.

I think the Welsh clubs that play in England used to get into the Cup Winners Cup through the Welsh Cup, but they closed that loophole down.

PSG look deadly this season with their 3-4-3 formation. Mbappe, Messi and Neymar are suddenly clicking like never before.

Wouldn't be surprised to see them win or go very close to winning the Champions League this season.

Sevilla were at home and got absolutely smashed.

Sevilla stats: 6 shots, 1 on target. Man City: 24 shots, 10 on target.

Man City at home against us.....17 shots, 9 on target. Forest: 8 shots, 1 on target.

Does make you wonder......

City can do it to anyone to be fair. Even the cream of Europe can be on the end of a good hiding from them.

What I would say though is looking at the stats from our game. City actually committed more fouls than us and only 1 less tackle. We were never going to go there and outplay them obviously but I wish we'd have gone and tried to leave a mark or too and let the City players know it was a Premier League game not a training session.

Not sure which game to watch today. Four real good contests. I think I'll go Bayern v Inter, to see how Fonzie does. I think Marseille will give Spurs a good game. Porto-Athletico should be spicy. And Napoli are very capable of beating Liverpool.

As an aside Inter are in luke warm water again for a bit of antisemitic chanting over the weekend. Charming lot they are.

It probably won't last as they'll have that extra time where the whistle doesn't go until they equalise, but for now.....

Ahem ..
