So, anyway, Europe‘s most entertaining League finished like this:

I could tell you how Stuttgart stayed up on the final day, with a 92nd minute winning goal, but that’s far too preposterous and you’d never believe me.

I could tell you how Forest got promoted through the play offs after being bottom of the league with a solitary point after 7 games, but that's far too preposterous and you'd never believe me.

Could you tell me how even Furth managed to beat Derby's record and play 4 games less?

Do Germans get bored of Bayern winning it every year then bolstering their squad each summer with the best players from anyone in 2nd or 3rd?

Yes. They were absolutely shocking all season, but still managed a double figure points total (and that was way more than was expected of them, given the paucity of their budget and their meagre squad).

Yes, pretty much everyone outside Bavaria feels like this.

However, the worm may be turning; their star-striker wants to do one to Barcelona, claiming he’s played his last match for Bayern, one of their star central defenders is off to Dortmund, and their other two star men, roving Improvisator Thomas Müller (32), and Manuel Neuer (103) aren’t getting any younger.

They will inevitably win the league again unless Dortmund get their fingers out, but I anticipate it might be a tad closer.

Do you think Bayern have asked the question about Haland in the past?

Some interesting stats for you:

The youngest average-aged sides in the top five European leagues:

My local side absolutely pride themselves on building around a core of young players, whose value will only increase.

Another stat-tastic stat: Greek Defender Konstantinos „Dinos“ Mavropanos led the Bundesliga in attempts-blocked last season:

He managed to block an incredible 84 attempts, averaging nearly three a match. And the VfB signed him permanently for about €3m, which is an absolute bargain.

Credible rumours that a deal is done between the scousers and FC Bayern for Sadio Mané, the fee is apparently €35m.

Personal terms already agreed.

I think Liverpool will miss him as well, he's a bit underrated compared to some of their other big name players and a vital part of their recent successes.

Great business at €35m for Bayern.

The rumour - total rumour I hasten to add - is that Bayern are resigned to losing Lewandowski (who wants to go to Barca) and are instead looking for mobile players who can fluidly fill an interchangeable front three - Mané would absolutely work there, and that’s now Nagelsmann often set up his Leipzig side.

Bayern are holding out for €50m for Lewandowski by the way, which is an astonishing amount for a player of his age.

Where would Lewandowski even go? Can't see a Premier League side going for him, and nobody else could afford him.

Barcelona.

He wants that and so do they. They are currently working on selling 49% of their future rights to fund this and other transfers, and to plug the €700m hole in their accounts.

I am not a betting man, but I’d say there is an 80% chance Lewandowski lines up for Barca next season.

I would also add, Lewandowski specifically does not want to come to the Premier League because he feels he would not be as effective there.

Bargain, at that price. He's just as good as Salah, IMO.

His old agent has said that aint he?

Bizarre being a striker and not being confident enough to back yourself in the big league.... I think he'd be OK if he got the service

What a state they are as a club. You would have thought they would have learnt by now?

Selling your soul to buy a player that will play for a max 2 years… makes zero sense. 49% of everything they earn in the future completely down the drain.

All these things they are trying to do and still won't beat Real Madrid for the title this upcoming season😆
