Barcelona.

He wants that and so do they. They are currently working on selling 49% of their future rights to fund this and other transfers, and to plug the €700m hole in their accounts.

I am not a betting man, but I’d say there is an 80% chance Lewandowski lines up for Barca next season.
Yet the Spanish league still claims that PSG are Manchester City are cheating and ruining football. Real Madrid and Barca were doing that well before the Arabs got involved.

They are unbearable.

The idiots that run Spanish football must surely not believe half the tripe they come out with.

I suppose they do it, in part, to cover the fact that they, along with their royal family have been effectively rigging football for years.

The guy has oodles of cash.

Given the choice, would you like a year in California living like a king or Cardiff?

I never thought he'd go to Cardiff, but going to the MLS certainly won't be for football reasons.

He doesn't really have anything to prove, so I don't begrudge him his early retirement but it's a shame that he has chosen to effectively retire from club football at the age of 32.

Never been to Cardiff but I already can say California.

Get a little house near Mariposa. Lovely place. Just as long as it's not on fire.

VfB Stuttgart are fined €15.000 following the good natured pitch invasion at the conclusion of the final league match of last season against 1. FC Köln:

some value for money there €160 for Bayern

Yeah, it works out at under €10 a match.

The cheapest one at VfB is about €13 a match, standing behind the goal in the famous Cannstatter Kurve.

to think I was paying the equivalent of €10 to watch Northern League, €13 is a bargain.

Yep.

And if FC Bayern are to be believed, Barcelona will have to send a quarter of that - around €50m - straight to München, if they want to have any hope of signing Robert Lewandowski, with the player adamant he wants to join the Catalan side.

There is some truth in that.

I love watching the Polish forward (even though the bastard makes a habit of scoring against Stuttgart) but he’s 34 now, and although he’s in superb condition, he’s got maybe three seasons at the top left in him.

That’s a lot of money for three seasons.

(That said, watch him do a Zlatan and play until he‘s 40!)
