Get him singed FFS
Exactly! Still not entirely sure that this isn't some elaborate dream that I've yet to wake up from.

Alphonso Davies, of FC Bayern and Canada, is a damn good guy:

Isn't this what every England international has been doing for years?
Dunno, is it?

(serious question, by the way)

VAR controversy in last night‘s Topspiel, as Bayer Leverkusen traveled to the Westfalenstadion to take on Borussia Dortmund; a lively, highly-contested match saw Die Schwarzgelb leading 1-0 as the game wound down, thanks to a scrambled Marco Reus finish from about six centimetres out in the 9th minute.

92 minutes on the watch, Leverkusen goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky comes to the edge of his box, makes the catch, and starts a counter-attack as Die Werkself try and snatch an equaliser.

But, wait! The VAR signals Referee Felix Brych that an offence may have occurred, so Germany’s top official stops the match, to quickly review the footage - result, Red Card for Hradecky for handling just outside the box - his feet were inside, but his hands, and importantly, the ball, were not.

So, first use of the soap for the goalie, and midfielder Edmond Tapsoba has to don the gloves and go in net, as Leverkusen had used all their subs. He managed to defend the subsequent free.-kick, but the game petered-out for a victory for the home side.

A lively, entertaining encounter though, loads of attacking play and it showed again the entertaining side of the Bundesliga.

VfB face LawnBall Sport Leipzig today at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

Did Bayern try and join that Super League last year? I bet the rest of the Bundesliga is gutted it didn't go ahead.

No, they and Dortmund were invited, but both clubs declined after significant pressure from their members.

Coppa Italia shock as Serie B Parma knock out Serie A Salernitano who boasted a young Bohinen amongst their number ( and an old Ribery)

Top Shithousery from VfB fans during yesterday’s draw against LawnBall Sport; the banner above the mediocre number of away fans (they really don’t travel well at all) reads: „a block of traditionless bastards“

I seen the piss poor turn out from RB, is it a distance thing or are they poorly supported full stop ( unless they’re going for all the pots and pans )?

At home they are well followed, but their away following is very poor.

Wolfsburg and Leverkusen also don’t travel well, unlike most other sides who travel in huge numbers. Even Bayern (spit) have a decent away following. VfB also go away in substantial numbers.

Just seen they were only formed in 2009, that could explain poor following, Oldham took over a thousand to Torquay in non-league that is a sobering thought…..
