So my Greek friends, Would you say this is nailed on ?

No, according to the Greek press there's still no confirmation from club sources. But then again, club sources are probably still sleeping.

Where's me hammer?
The Spanish are renowned for their concept of „Mañana“ („Tomorrow“) which is sort of shorthand for „I‘ll get round to it“.

I think the Greeks have something similar.

Unlike the Germans of course, for whom punctuality is practically a religion.

Unless you're building an airport

It’s not building the Airport that is the problem - we’ve done that already („we“ provided the Security and building-environmental Control Systems for the Terminals).

The Major issues have been the sub-standard materials used, procurement of much of which seems to be somewhat clouded in mystery.

this is spreading to Greek media too. it makes sense to me. you need a no 1 keeper and we need a no 2.
That was the one weird thing about us looking for a new keeper but yeah it seems like we'd just be moving Pants to number 2 and Steele to 3 if we got a new man, so fair play to Steele. I hope he can win a couple of trophies with you before he retires.

Good move all-round if it happens. Steele gets to chill out in Greece counting the cash without actually doing anything, we get to demote Pants finally and get a proper goal-keeper in and Pants get to go back to doing what he's spent a career doing - being a number 2.

Let's get it done.

Unlike most who don't rate Pantillimon I also don't rate Steele from what I've seen. I think Pantillimon is the better of the two keepers, just, so would be in favour of Heaton coming in to displace both and one of them leaving, if not both (Smith can be a bench keeper for me).

I wouldn't be surprised if the club have told him to move on (with potential incomings on the way?) and Olympiakos was a simple option, but he doesn't want to go to them because of his fondness for Panathinaikos.

Deja vu. Steele will end up at Swansea then.

Has there been any rumours that he'll play on Saturday? A Greek journalist claims that according to sources in England not only he is not coming to Olympiacos but he will be a starter on Saturday.

Not really, the only word was Karanka saying he will probably put Pantilimon back in.
