About £13m for Forest. But what does all this have to do with the price of offal?

Oh right, well when you put it that way."I think the point is, he helped Nuno build his Wolves side.
And the fantasy is that he'll repeat that again."
Not an unreasonable "hope" by any means mate, but I'd counter it by advising be careful what you wish for.Very poor management by the owner and his 'entitled' son.
I hope in a season or 2 they sell the club.....
As in sell players? I'm not 100% sure what his current role at the club is but he was a recruitment consultant at Forest and reportedly was more recently appointed to EM's transfer steering committee for Forest and Rio Ave.What?
How is Mendes going to help thin out the squad, that's the question?
Was he?he was a recruitment consultant at Forest
Is that what you were asking?
Was he?
I'm asking specifically about how he is going to help sell players Forest current have in the squad who aren't his clients.
If he is acting as an agent for the club, this would suffice.
But I've never seen him involved in any outward moves for players other than his clients.
At least a couple of teams there looking to kickstart their seasons. I'm sure we'll happily oblige as per usual. There's no bad time to play Forest it seems.I look at the next 4 fixtures (Newcastle away, Man U home, Brentford away, Arsenal home) and I see 2 draws at best.
No it's not. If we win all our games then we stay up.Technically speaking, safety is out of our hands. That should wake everyone up and fight for every ball and not switch off for a single second.
I totally agree Otis, the grass is not always greener. It's a hard choice ...Not an unreasonable "hope" by any means mate, but I'd counter it by advising be careful what you wish for.
Absoute not propising I'm ITK.If you're more itk then I concede to your better information
the club will hope it has a more positive impact than the last time, when they were operating in the Championship, he was directing players their way
Agreed. Whatever his motives, and whatever his faults, he wants success and is putting his money where his mouth is.Not an unreasonable "hope" by any means mate, but I'd counter it by advising be careful what you wish for.
Ah, beating Luton away is the showdown then. Yes.No it's not. If we win all our games then we stay up.

Not disputing this in any way. Just, who'd have thought that we'd be posting comments like this at the start of the season.... we're still in a situation where 'all' we need to do is equal the points of Luton, Burnley and SU over 20 games. Now I'm not taking that for granted, but if we can't achieve that we really don't deserve to stay up.
Agree - and this has to be the minimum expectation. Surprised to see fans saying they would take 17th now. We’re in a relegation battle due to the first 17 games of the season, yesterday was an improvement and we will be fine.
Nuno will bollock the defence for being incapable of marking someone and in time we will be much improved and stay up.
I also think we will match our away wins since promotion from now until May.
Yep absolutely.Forest don’t need a central defender who can levitate (no, not in the manner of Dua Lipa either) but one who is at least a bit capable in the air would be nice.
The amount of goals conceded from crosses is ridiculous, and it is noticeable how opposing teams use that tactic because they know Forest are crap at clearing their lines.
Look on the bright side Johnny....Still fuming after yesterday and now I’ve got the outlaws here ‘til Wednesday. Merry f***ing Christmas.
We seem to be in free fall at the moment and it won’t be easy to stop a crash landing. The mood is pretty bleak round here. I'm officially concerned.
Exactly,Rocka-we allow far too many crosses to arrive in our box.Yep absolutely.
Also Brian Clough was forever yelling from the dugout time and time again "stop the crossers!"
Aye... stop the crosses and problem half solved.Exactly,Rocka-we allow far too many crosses to arrive in our box.
