Coop and Ange are friends I think (I know they've been on holiday with the big man together) so I'd hope this is one where Cooper is well aware what "Ange ball" is and how to counter it. Knowing they will play a high line no matter what (see them playing 9 against Chelsea) we should be able to hit them on the counter if every plays to their ability, which will be a big ask.
We did counter Aston Villa's ridiculously high line pretty well.
Although Awoniyi was a big part of what we did that day.

This ange ball is good to watch but it's never going to be reliable as recent results have shown.
If there's anyone who can counteract ange ball it's cooper and forest with a disciplined performance from every player.
We can do this

Would be an interesting duel, who's going to keep up when Johnno breaks away, Murillo (if fit) or do you bring back Aina for LB (unlikely starter)?

Johnson has been playing on the left most times I have watched them so I presume he would be up against Williams.

If we line up in the expected 5 at the back low block formation then that's going to reduce Johnson's impact as there'll be limited space to run in behind, especially if we go with Felipe on the RCB role rather than Boly who's a bit less mobile, won't need the height anyway.

Think the biggest risk is Kulusevski cutting in from the right and shooting from distance.
Kulusevski played as a 10 against Newcastle with Johnson & Son as the wide players

Didn't watch it so fair enough. Son on the left (in which case he's the bigger risk)?

Happy to see Brennan, love him to bits but I hope Toff puts him into row z a minute in and he has a Britt Assombalonga stinker.

Yep I agree, no room for sentiment at this moment in time.

They looked better for it. In the previous few games Kulusevski had seen plenty of the ball playing in the right but his cutting in became super predictable and was easily crowded out.

Son wider with an in form Richarlison up top also looked a better natural fit for everyone. Ange will probs go with this against Forest. Important we get in to Jonno and richarlison early to give them something to think about.

I think the bottom line is whatever combination they use, they are quite good going forward!

We will need another Villa-esque display. It will definitely be all about speed for us, I wouldn't make any changes but I would put in Danilo for Kouyate. Danilo was so good last season in that box to box role in a 5-3-2 to support the forward players.
