Saw the game last night and was quite impressed with the pace and directness of Spurs. Particularly with Brennan and Son on the wings.

I have no answers, I'll leave Coops to deal with them now I've pointed it out for him.
I watched that game too.
You have to bear in mind Newcastle have a lot of missing players at the moment.
I think Spurs will be a real handfull on Friday night.
Hopefully Johnno will continue to hit the woodwork and not score.

We are going to have to stick it out for periods in this game, because at times Spurs look like the best team in the country.

But they also look a bit crumbly at times, so stick it out and be prepared to suffer a bit and hopefully we can punish them when they have their spursy moments….

Never mind the formation or the tactics, the most important question as far as I am concerned is who is going to kick Richarlison up in the air now that Johno isn't around?

Willy Boly looks like he would enjoy a good scrap, so my money is on „Big Willy“ to boot the ponce over the advertising hoardings with an early „reducer“.

NO MOTIVATION NEEDED ON FRIDAY.

COME ON YOU MIGHTY REDS!!!!!!!

Would be an interesting duel, who's going to keep up when Johnno breaks away, Murillo (if fit) or do you bring back Aina for LB (unlikely starter)?

I'm afraid I think we lose. Brennan is bound to hurt us and then there is Richarlison - I hate that guy so he's obviously going to score.

Spurs strike me as the kind of side who are technically very good, but inconsistent with their effort.
I’m hoping they come in thinking they can stroll over us without any effort.

Johnson scores, brings out the bow and arrow celebration. 5 minutes later Yatesey puts him in row Z and gets away with a booking.
Final score: Forest 5 - Spuds 1. Richarlison sent off for a late tackle on Boly which results in Richarlison being stretchered off with cruciate injury. Revenge for 91 complete.

If we line up in the expected 5 at the back low block formation then that's going to reduce Johnson's impact as there'll be limited space to run in behind, especially if we go with Felipe on the RCB role rather than Boly who's a bit less mobile, won't need the height anyway.

Think the biggest risk is Kulusevski cutting in from the right and shooting from distance.

Coop and Ange are friends I think (I know they've been on holiday with the big man together) so I'd hope this is one where Cooper is well aware what "Ange ball" is and how to counter it. Knowing they will play a high line no matter what (see them playing 9 against Chelsea) we should be able to hit them on the counter if every plays to their ability, which will be a big ask.
