I'm still here Crewton
Only prediction is that my voice will have gone Saturday morning.
Gerrat em from the off and with a bit of luck we can get something. Their injuries are stacking up now, be nice to see a couple more out after tomorrow.
For now I'll take absolutely anything that gives us an advantage.

Sangare Mangala Yates

It’s about time Sangare announced himself.
I hope The City Ground is rocking like we are yet to see this season as we shit house our way to a 1-0 victory.
If everyone is fit I’d keep the same team.

I’d currently bring Danilo on instead of Sangare.

This is a real crap shot. On one hand Spurs have been poor recently but a few of their games have been very tough, including tomorrow against Newcastle, though how Newcastle approach this will depend largely on how they prioritize players for midweek vs Milan. On the other hand Spurs play to attack and that makes them quite different than Wolves. If Cooper gets the tactics right and we can stifle them most of the time we have a fighting chance. It's a completely different game than the one today so the approach will undoubtedly be different. Not certain I like how we match up against Spurs, but they are a side with plenty of wildcards (like Romero) so who knows? I think Spurs will prevail but it's not one to bet your mortgage on, one way or the other. I think if Cooper starts the same midfield trio he is asking for big trouble. Dominguez has gone from a revelation to an unused sub. This is truly bizarre.

Hopefully we won't get distracted by any "return of brennan" nonsense.

He was a very good player for us, deserves respect but lets leave it at that.

I've been one of Dominguez's biggest admirers, but since West Ham he's been fairly poor for whatever reason. Fine, he deserves the chance to play himself back into his earlier form - until Fulham, when unfortunately he was one of the ones who didn't look like he was trying.

Kouyate, who's barely had a sniff all season, came in, got really stuck in from the off and could have had an excellent goal but for a good save from Sa. It looked an odd choice before kickoff but it was justified within ten minutes of the game starting imo.

I didn't think Kouyate was that good against Wolves. I rate him as a player, solid pro who was always decent and dependable last season (except that free kick).

But this season he's looked old, tired and a bit leggy, if you ask me. Like the years have caught him up.

That was my view until yesterday (although it was based on the very few minutes he's been given this season) but I thought first half yesterday he got through a lot of good spoiling work and looked plenty energetic enough.

Kouyate showed minerals yesterday, he did his job! I wasnt remotely bothered about so many changes because it was always going to tell us if the problem was a universal squad problem or if certain players are just not currently up for it.

We now have the answer. Cooper needs players he knows will give him 100%, thats the foundation to anything moving forward and irrespective of opposition Id stick with that side. Certainly a side with 5 across the back that does not include Sangare in the middle at this point.

We simply dont have the luxury of allowing him to find his feet at this level any longer.

Felipe might be able to give us 70 minutes then I guess you could give Omobamidele a run. If only we had a club captain who generally plays well in a 3 who hadn't had a giant mardy.

We saw last year that he makes 3-4 games to get going. He was very good for us last season leading up to the WC when we started picking up results. Immense against Liverpool I think it was.

He was good yesterday, a goal would have capped a very solid display.

Not the first time that Murillo has limped off - I'm hoping like the other times he's back for the next one. Felipe should be fine after a week off, and great that Boly came through yesterday.

If Felipe's back I'd leave Boly out for Friday - we need pace against that forward line and, assuming all fit, Niakhate, Felipe and Murillo have more than our others (Omobamidele aside who I'm not sure about?).

Being honest? I am sick to death of our back line changing constantly.

I wouldn't make any changes to that position unless they are enforced.
