I was hoping Mr Marinakis was going to invite us all to Athens for a few days R&R, but my hopes have been dashed, I was even prepared to brave the appalling muddle at the airports these days.

If this guy signs and Williams and Toffolo come to fruition in the coming days, that's the back 6 sorted (at least for now). That only really leaves midfield and some reinforcements...
If AMN, MGW and the lad from Rangers all come off we'll be nearly sorted with about £80m spend.

Looks as decent as we can hope for. I'd be happy with that.
However we need much better squad depth than this. As much as I appreciate their efforts for us, we are in trouble if we are relying on Cafu, Lolley and Grabban if we pick up a few injuries/suspensions.

Agreed ... But this is where we'll have to ride our luck next season if we're to stay up. Picking up injuries and lots of suspensions would almost certainly see us too weak to compete. The trouble with losing half our squad that got us up!
