The selection dilemma's already occuring for Super Cooper.

Mangala & LOB are probably undroppable for the next match. But it's clear Yates / Frueler will be pushing.

Nice problems to have after week 2. I wonder if we will see another CM put in against Everton for an away game. I think he will give the 2 man midfield another chance as nerves clearly got to us against Newcastle.

That little burst of pace was back. Helps make him dangerous and will help make him a Premier League player. Thought he was great today and never stopped running.

Definitely nice problems to have - as we might actually be able to get away from having to run the same 11 into exhaustion, rush them back from injuries etc

Thought he was superb yesterday, gives us great energy, he has a huge appetite to close the opposition down and hassle constantly. Also looks decent on the ball, you can only see him getting better the more the team settles, a bargain!

This guy is the player I wanted us to sign above all others, he looks a class above anything we've seen at Forest in a long time imo. I can't remember the last time we had a player who brings what he does? Dribbling, distribution, pace Awareness of space in possession and out of possession. He looks so comfortable scanning the pitch for opportunities and potential danger. Mangala looks class also but if Freuler ends up being the Xavi to LOB's Iniesta (lol sorry but I get excited when I see players who try to play a similar game to Iniesta) then we could even see him improve significantly and we will be very difficult to beat.

I haven't seen much weakness in his game yet, I guess maybe he could play the simple pass a little more often but who wants to stop a talented player from trying things? Assuming we keep him for next season, I hope he wears the #8 for us for a decade. No offence to Colback of course.

The only thing I say was he was at fault in the lead-up to the disallowed Benrahma goal - get megged on the run-in. But also was marking Benramha when the Antonio/Mangala incident happened and let him peel off him into the box to pick up the pass.

I see lots of comparisons of former Forest players but have we really had one like him? All energy, pure box to box and is good at both ends of the pitch.

Colback never had the energy or forward thrust that he has. Paul McKenna just sat deep and didn't go past the half way line.

As for comparisons outside of Forest he is like Kante for me. He won't score or assist loads, but acted like an extra man in the middle today against a very good midfield.

He won't fail through lack of effort.

Fair enough. I meant Mckenna-ish in the way that whenever we were out of possession whereever the ball was he was there clearing up.

Yep he doesn't remind me of any former Reds. Maybe Kante is a good comparison. I mentioned Iniesta because I see a very high skill level in LOB, someone who wants possession in the attacking half and wants to beat a man and lay it off, who makes good decisions with the ball. But he's more of a box to box player overall.

I was always a big fan of Leon Osman, I thought he was a far more influential player than he usually got credited with although he lacked the strength and pace of true top tier midfielders, he was very technically skilled and could run a midfield in the prem, and did for years consistently. Maybe that's a closer comparable. Ether way I like what I see in Lewis, he's a big upgrade on what we had last season and light years better than any midfielder we've had arguably since Bartman.

My old man thinks somewhat similar to Archie Gemmil, I say forward thinking Jack Colback.

For me Steve Hodge would be a good comparison. Does everything well, plenty of effort, good passer, wins the ball back a lot. Just needs to add a few more goals to his record.
