Agreed, but couldn't the same be said for all of them? He's been a revelation for me so far and I'm optimistic that once he and the rest of the squad attune to the pace he'll become a key player for us. A really good signing.

Thats because the team is a bunch of strangers. Theres literally nothing about how he controls or passes a ball that makes you think he won't speed up his thoughts and passing when everyone is on the same wavelength. Thats in contrast to Ryan who to be fair has other qualities but will always be a bit wooden on that front...

I was disappointed to see him left out against Bournemouth, however I understood the change to Kouyate as he's a high energy player who played 90 minutes on Sunday and Wednesday, and Bournemouth are a massive team.

But yesterday was bizarre, he was once again the best player in a Forest shirt when he came on. Probably the Championship's best midfielder last season, he absolutely belongs at the level above.

The first genuinely baffling decision Coops has ever made to give him his dues- but could prove to be so costly.
