How many games has calderwood got?

Of course there are plenty of other quality managers out there ready to step into the City Ground hotseat. Kinnear will be out of work in 6 weeks :)

Derby game could prove to be make or break for Colin.

Personally, I've always had faith in him, we're working with an injury list that would hinder any team in the division. Who would we replace him with?

Other than Allardyce, there's no one.

I'm not suggesting he should go now and i'm not mentioning any replacements but do you seriously think that if results don't improve and we are still in this position come the end of November that Colin should still be managing us?

NO NO NO NO NO

that is our first choice defence.

Garner was never going to be fit now

Anderson is a totally unknown quantity.

do not give calderwood that much credit, our results and performances so far have been totally unacceptable.

The thing that Calderwood has never managed to shake is the tag of a manager who appears unable to produce something different to get his side out of a slump, both during individual games and over the course of a bad run. He does sometimes stumble into good runs but that's more often by luck rather than judgement.

There's nothing special about his sides, which isn't always a bad thing, but when the chips are down you need to think outside the box.

Plus McGugan and Earnshaw, plus the players carrying niggles or playing themselves into fitness.

Yeah, or you won't be over the moon, you'll be as sick as a parrot. At the end of the day, it's a game of two halves, you know what I mean Harry?

With Doughty's spineless record in sacking managers taken into consideration and the fact Clownderwood's record is three play-offs and two automatic promotions, I would guess that he has until the middle of next season before Doughty pulls the plug.

god you get on my tits you f***ing parasite

PS - Phil Brown applied for the job that Colin eventually got. We all laughed when he told the press that he wanted it.

Hull have just gone 2-1 up at the Emirates...

Anderson proved his worth at Swansea...there's also numerous Liverpool fans who rate him above Pennant.

Whilst your Garner point is technically true there's no doubting that when fit he will benefit the side.

Of course in typical you fashion you conveniently ignore the other players who are currently injured but that's probably just an attempt to dismiss what is actually a valid argument.

It's a mixture of bad luck and bad planning so far.

Bad luck that so many of our attacking-minded players got injured during the pre-season.

Bad planning that not a single new defender was brought in until this week (he stayed on the bench!)

Bad planning that Garner was signed.....it was just an outrageous mistake to bring in a striker with a long-term injury, no pre-season and every chance the injury might recur.

We will get better when other injuries settle down but it's going to be a relegation battle for us. For me he's got about 5-6 games to prove he can sort out the defence. Otherwise get in a new man.

Yeah, but at least we only spent £1.2million on him...

Says it all, Clownderwood should buy Kevin Toms's Football Manager for the ZX Spectrum, we'd be in the Premiership in no time.

Can't be arsed to read the four pages of probable dirge.

I would prefer to await the thoughts of the attendees.

And regardless, history shows Calderwood will have a few games yet.
