I don't know why but I think he's got something.

If we have signed another RB I would loan him to the Champ til Christmas. Give him someone entirely for free (we still pay wages) so we have a choice of somewhere he'd immediately be first choice.

Then re-evaluate.
Agree. Didn't look out of place in the very few minutes he's been able to show so far.

Any deal with Olympiacos will have to be a full transfer as Richards and Scarpa mean we're already at the loan limit.

Potentially Kouyate too, which would be a great pick up for them. Seems the general consensus amomgst their fans is that they're just being used to house players we couldn't get rid of

I can understand their skepticism around Biancone due to his injury and general lack of showng any promise, but Kouyate would be a great player to have in their squad even at 33

Not saying you're wrong - but do you have a source?

I was initially under the impression we could only loan out 7 players, but having looked at it again, I think the guidance about 7 loans currently applies to international transfers, with a limit of three loans from one club to another.

England/Premier League have a few years to adopt the rules fully, but that makes me think domestic loans/rules between premier league clubs are different.

That aside - Giulian Biancone seems like a good character, but he desperately needs games and a chance to play after his injury. I hope he gets minutes at Olympiakos and a chance to shine.

No source. I thought - and I could be wrong - the limit per club was 2 players under FIFA rules.

Any deal with Olympiacos will have to be a full transfer regardless of limitations in the FA, because after the Podence deal we already have seven players on loan, which is the international limit.

As I was afraid, we got the one player of yours that we did not need.

Like with Omar, the club has pass him by due to his season long injury and no longer has need for him.
I'm not totally sure because we haven't seen much of GB play for us and even less of OR. OR was injured pretty much straight after joining so the jury is totally out on that as there's no sample to work on. In terms of GB he came on for a bit when we lost at city and also the end of the draw with Brighton and in neither appearance did he really disgrace himself but the 16 minutes he played isn't enough to really make a decision on. This was also at the time period when we were settling in and they were trying to keep the promotion winning defence in the side along with Toffolo and Williams covering wing back so it was probably the plan to bed him in more gently and then give him appearances later in the season which of course didn't happen with the injury. And we already brought in Aurier so there was no need for Giulian to rush back last season and now we have AIna and Montiel as well.

Sending him to Oly with a buy back if we want it is probably the most sensible option here given he's not going to make the 25 and needs to prove himself.
