Beautiful send off statement by the club

"Giulian Biancone has completed a permanent transfer to Olympiacos.

The 23-year-old joined Forest from Troyes last July and made three first-team appearances for the club.

As Giulian begins a new chapter in his career, everyone at the club wishes him well for the future."

Was clearly never going to be good enough for us.

Luckily for the club they moved away from Dane and his methods as we'd have surely been relegated with him still CEO.

FT: Panserraikos 0 - 1 Olympiacos
Biancone played all game as central defender. Picked up a yellow card in the 78th min.
A certain Omar Richards came on as a sub in the 90th min.

I thought he was a decent player when he was with us and would have liked him to have been given more of a chance

How did you manage to make that judgment given her played what, 7 minutes in the league for us was it?

Pre season performances, particularly against Hertha Berlin. The little cameo against Brighton gave us the only bit of forward thrust we managed in that entire game. Not much of an evidence base, I admit, but I liked what I saw. He seemed to have a good attitude both from what I could see and what I heard.

I do remember him coming on away against Man City last season. Every Forest player had been like a deer in the headlights, but he came on and actually got his head up when he had the ball and actually looked for a Forest player. It was enough to suggest for me that there could be a decent player in there, so will be interesting to see how he develops now he is getting back to fitness.

To be fair he was also written off based on those minutes played, looked good in pre season..obviously that doesn't always translate.

He did seem to have a positive attitude
