RIGHT, IT'S f***ing DONE NOW. Finally some clarity, and we know exactly where we are. No more excuses, we know what we've got to do now, are the players gonna show some actual fight now? because if they don't after this then get out of the club.

4 points looks workable, as does our fixture list in comparison.

Whats more worrying for me is we don't look like holding out for a win anytime soon. Im interested to know the point the players & manager are going to pull their finger out. Hopefully a spell in the bottom three is the trigger.

If the Guardians news is correct, then I can’t see why this has not been published officially yet. Just seems another way to shit on little Forest.

Forest‘s argument - rejected by the Premier League - was that by waiting until later in the window, they could extract more money from the sale, and thus, make themselves more sustainable overall, as the entire amount would be booked as profit.
And I genuinely believe EM would have trusted the advice fed to him, that this would have passed through and been given the okay by the Prem.
It was a clear mistake by the club but you have to give credit that since that announcement they have approached PSR in the right way, especially in January.

Of course we would rather not be in this situation but if when the next set of accounts are due we are over again, then yes we can have a serious conversation about the owner.
I'm by no means saying we are perfect It's just in my opinion that our owner is having a pretty good go at making Forest the best possible club they can be, on and off the pitch.

Talk of us being over the threshold by around 4m.

If true, then a deduction of 4pts seems harsh?

Can see us appealing just to piss off Masters.

If we can't get more points than Luton between now and the end of the season then relegation will be justified anyway. Down to the squad now; time for them to prove they're a premier league team.
And they - Luton - Will be thinking exactly the same.

The way things have gone so far we can't hold a lead or keep a clean sheet which doesn't inspire confidence. Hope to God this changes over the next 9 games.

Just feel so happy to have it confirmed. Now we know what we need, and it's completely achievable.

Time to get behind the club now. Save the inquisition until the end of the season when we'll know the full impact.

The full report should drop imminently - that will give us the full impact

If it's only £4M over then that is definite appeal territory

All of this "it's time to get together behind the team and crack on" but straight away people are slagging off the owner. 🙄
That is getting behind the team.

The owner and his son need to be removed from anything football related, and we need to go back to being run how we were under Murphy, else where only going to end up in another mess sooner or later.

They're not fit for purpose when it comes to running a British upper league football club. They are fine to fund one, I'll happily take their money, but watching them claw for glory in the spotlight with their sad attempt to run us is like watching some round 1 X-factor reject yank the microphone off Bruce Dickinson and trying to sing Aces High mid-concert.

No guarantee - if we were to appeal - that the deduction can’t be increased.
Just accept the fact that the club f***** up - and move on.
If ever we needed a united front it’s now.

I expected 6, Scousers going apoplectic as i speak so that means we simply MUST appeal on principle.

Are we allowed to use our set piece coach now? Might have come with the ruling..

Nine games to be one point better than Luton. By no means a sure thing but anyone chucking in the towel ought to get a grip.
I certainly wouldn't chuck the towel in, we simply have a better squad than Luton and you'd hope that count at some point, especially with Sheff U and Burnley to play.

But over the last 9 games Luton have more points than us. So at this point in time I'm ****kin fuming that the top brass has seen fit to give the side an even bigger uphill task to stay up.

It can and WILL be done. But there's no good doing it this year just to see the buffoons at the top screw up basics again next year. kicking up a stink about it now is the best way to make them sit up and take note.
