Is that 7 calendar days, or 7 working days?
And are Bank Holidays counted as working days?
So, over Easter weekend we waited 10 Calendar days, which was 6 working days including the announcement day for a Commission Judgement. I can't recall now if that was ours or Everton's but someone will remind us shortly.

Why will the outcome of the Appeal not be released before the middle of next week?
It can't take that long for the Appeal Panel to either say yes or no to returning some or all of the points taken from us, surely?
Never rush a job when you are trying to justify to someone how much you are getting paid.

The appeal panel was yesterday. So seven days would be next week. The 7 days is needed to draft the response and fit 4 rounds of golf in.
VAR is checking it

I don’t understand why if they completed the hearing on Wednesday, why it takes seven working days to give us the result. Just seems they want to keep us on edge for the maximum time, just cruel.

The judgment has to be agreed, drafted, amended, updated, finalised, shared.

If we don't get a point or two back then the PL has ignored our mitigating factors again. The forensic accountant working with FG demolished much of their reasoning for deducting 4 points....I find it amazing that we can be 'judged' in a week & Man City can drag their 115 charges out over 4 years..........but our owner isn't part of the ruling family of a state we want to keep onside......

There was a guy on the Garibaldi podcast a few weeks ago. I don't know if it's the same chap.

That's the guy is on the Supporters Trust board, Robert Matusiewicz.

incidentally, he's a former agent infamous for losing Jennas to Paul Stretford's Proactive in the build-up to his move to Newcastle. Proactive employed Paul Hart's son (who had recently moved from Matusiewicz' Ambition Management) as well as Freddie Sheppard's son. 🤝

Narrator: Paul Hart was the selling club's manager, Freddie Sheppard was the buying club's owner.

And Chelsea, whose behaviour allegedly goes back even further than Manchester City‘s does.

It does seem that the Premier League are quite happy to have investment from nation-states, to the extent they are seemingly ignoring state-sponsored financial doping, but punishing clubs who are trying to compete (Forest) and financially incompetent (Everton, whose chicken absolutely has to come home to roost soon, surely?)

The bottom line is that, the way the Premier runs things, football is not played only on the field anymore. In the long run, this is a path to disaster.

Actually, I think it’s a path to a closed-league, like the American models, with no promotion or relegation.

I think that’s what the PL wants as an end-game. Then it can build its „brand“ with a group of known clubs, that doesn’t change every season (like the US professional leagues do, in various sports).

And that would be shit.

It's so frustrating because fans have the power to change absolutely anything but it really happens they drip feed little things in untill they get what the want in football and life in genral all it would take would be everyone to get together on it

Far be it for me to indulge in conspiracy theories, but hence the talk that the Man City case has been the subject of discussion at government diplomatic level.

Everton had their points penalty reduced by 40%.
I‘m hoping for ( nay demanding ) a similar reduction - i.e. 1.6 points rounded up to 2.
Lets have some consistency.

As David Icke calls it the "totalitarian tip toe".
