As much as this game is in a few days' time, I'm not sure we should rotate that much given it's our only realistic shot at a trophy this season and Nottingham Forest seem to be doing well at the moment.
I see no reason to be optimistic, we look clueless everytime we face these so called weak teams.
Interesting, Forest away form is much better than their home form suggesting they are a counter attacking outfit.
This will be tough, hopefully we get away with a 0-2 loss.
Surely we can't f*** this up too.
Can’t see anything other than a win today. Hopefully some positive performances and another small team in the next round to help us advance further before we eventually reach the final.
I won't call a team that is 4th in the championship a small team...

Normally I’d say play the youth but I guess the senior players deserve some minutes this season.
Full 180 isn't it, we now have senior internationals needing game time and resting youth.

Saved by VAR, but that was really poor defending again. We were so open there that if the Forest player was quicker with his decision making, he could have played two players in for a one v one with Caballero.

He got the ball and the young lad looked like a sniper in the stands had got him.
Not sure about the penalty but I’d be livid if that had been given as offside against us. VAR just doesn’t have the accuracy to be able to make a valid decision when the margins are so fine. They need to understand it’s limitations.

CHO's best performance I can recall. Opposition is shit but this should do his confidence good.
Good so far against a very average side.
Apart from the Penalty scare and one decent cross across our Goal Forest have done very little.
Their entire top 12*players are not even on the bench the presenters said, so this*is like playing Scunthorpe or Grimsby.
Every time James puts a golden cross in, Bats outward transfer fee goes down by 500,000.
Silly but dont feel confident at 2-0.

Decent performance in parts.* Forest's second string team though so would have been a disaster to lose that.
You know the FA Cup is on its knees when Forest make 10 changes and Barkley gets pulled off the naughty step for a game.
It would be a bit better if all the clubs had to name their FA Cup squads, like they do for the CL. At least if you pick kids you then have to stick with them all the way through regardless.

Lucky to have had VAR, could have been 2-2 otherwise. The first wasn't even a pen and the second never was a free kick but without the two offsides calls from VAR would have been a whole different game.
OK we are a crooked, we buy kids in a way that puts Gary Glitter to shame and we are as big on equality as Hitler at a bacon buttie party. That aside we are charming...and at least not scouse.
