Can't see Moreno here either. I was doing all I could to stop myself bouncing around to just can't get enough for a few mins so might have missed him

He looks alright, pretty tidy in possession (after giving it away with his first two passes ) played a couple of decent forward balls in behind too.

On a side note Payet is on a different planet, what a player.

Edit: I had a look for Coops but haven't seen him... yet

He's a very deep lying CDM, protects what is essentially a back 2 in possession. Tidy enough, nothing spectacular although he does pick his head up quickly to spray the ball wide to good effect.

Jonathan Clausse for Marseille has impressed me. I really like him.

What I will say is Payet is f***ing unbelievable, worth the entrance fee alone

That Clauss has had a phenomenal rise to the top. A great story.

I'll take a look when I get in. Noticed he'd only really played for Lens previously. Switched him from right to left second half and done well there too. Payet aside he's the player I'd take from this game

Somehow I find it quite comforting that his first name is William, not some unpronounceable Guillame or whatever, but something English sounding for an English club.

He shall be Bill.

What the f*** are Marseille and Betis doing having a friendly in chesterfield?! What have I missed?
It's much the same as Forest and Coventry having a friendly in Spain.

I think both sides are on training camps at St Georges Park, which is fairly common these days as it's a fantastic facility. So their choices are arrange games against local sides (as Hertha did against us and Derby), play games behind closed doors, or pick a localish ground. It just happens that this time Chesterfield got the nod - it could just as easily have been Burton, Derby, or Stoke.
