Wouldn't be against having a 30-year old in our midfield, considering our other midfielders are relatively young still. I do hope that we wouldn't be paying a big fee for him or Moreno though. Paying 8 figure transfer fees for players in and around their 30s makes me feel a bit uneasy, not going to lie.

As Heffing suggested, perhaps we may be doing what we did with Huddersfield with O'Brien/Toffolo and trying to do a deal for two players in one go for a reduced price. Would probably make paying Real Betis an 8 figure fee that they want for Moreno more palatable if Carvalho is coming as part of the deal too.
