Ok ok ok....Isn't Bouch an ex-player now?
... and he was rather good (we thrashed the Swiss 4-0, having lost about ten clear chances as well).
I’m glad for you. I think his style will be more suiting of anywhere but here.
Well done lads, Burnley & The Turkish side drew 0-0. Which one do you fancy?
I personally, Burnley.
I liked Bouch. As others have said he wasn’t mobile enough for England but he was honest and had an eye for a pass.
Once again he stressed to the press that his stay at Nottingham helped him a lot as a player.
Bouchalakis is mobile; he's just very slow and can't take the exhausting rhythm of British football twice a week. I have a feeling that this year, given that he will be a backup now that we have finally acquired the two quality midfielders desperately needed, he will prove good for us whenever he plays (not very often).
He’d be a good option late on off the bench, if you’re leading a match
He's fast becoming a player I feel sorry for. As I've mentioned before, he was never really liked by the fans, although four or five consecutive managers of Olympiacos wanted him on the team and even used him as a starter. As soon as things were beginning to shape up for him, year after year, he either tore a muscle badly from which he never recovered or had other injuries.
He was finally sent to you for a change of scenery. Everybody, including me, initially thought that he would not be good for you. He started brightly, but, again, his lack of muscular health for consecutive matches sent him to oblivion.
He came back to us, with the media never even talking about him, the fans grumbling, and the club circulating rumours that he would be sent on loan in order to appease the fans. He stayed, because the midfield transfers came too late, and he had the club's European future at his feet. He saw the job done with two decent performances, and he was excellent in the last league match.
And now, just when he seems perfectly fit and in very good form, he finds himself in a club with four mdifielders above him in the hierarchy, including a certain Yaya Toure. He will probably never wear our shirt again.
And next summer the same story will start again.
A starter for the National team tonight.
Disappointing if Olympiakos players are anything to go byWhat's the main course?
