Andreas Bouchalakis

Re: Andreas Buchalakis

Hopefully he'll work out better than the last 25 international loan players we've acquired.

I'll reserve judgement until I see him play and also see who else we bring in during the window but this one doesn't excite me. Sounds like he runs with cinder blocks for boots and has an injury record that makes Hobbs look fit.

Over 6ft is a positive. :nottsflag:

He's left footed though. :yellowcard: Our midfield is almost exclusively left footed.

Re: Andreas Buchalakis

Good player, not at CL level but should more than cut it here.

Reminds me of Officer Crabtree from 'Allo 'Allo

23 league appearances in 3 years. Only 6 starts. Yeah he sounds fantastic. Promotion here we come!

Re: Andreas Buchalakis

The Greek press continues to name Olympiacos players that will be loaned out to Forest, although they are proven wrong one name after another.
The latest addition to the list is Andreas Bouchalakis, a 24-year old left-footed midfield. He is probably the least likely to go to Forest of the whole list. I used to have high hopes for him, because he was the sort of midfield that I like: tall, good and quick passes, good in providing support for the passing game in general, strong left foot. But he is one of the slowest players to have worn the Olympiacos shirt and he has a terrible muscle injury history: as soon as he gains the trust of any coach (usually at the start of the season), he is off for a month or so. And that's repeated two or three times every year.

I would be really surprised if Warburton agreed on him.
I'm not very good at predictions, apparently.

Two more things:
a) Bouchalakis, not Buchalakis.
b) Try to see the upside: you said that you needed two midfields, so now there's plenty of money available for the other midfield...

Re: Andreas Buchalakis

Looks like we have another owner who makes the transfer decisions. No positives from this. Last summer this Greek fella was behind all the signings and they were all rubbish! And now we've signed this guy.

Well if his injury record is anything to go by we'll still need two midfielders.

Re: Andreas Buchalakis

Not keen on this one if he's to slow for the Greek league.

Looks like McParland spent the spring watching Greek reserve Football.

Anyway, he can't be as bad as Kasami...

(Trying hard to find something positive to say)

Well, at least he just came back from 10 days of hard training in Austria with the rest of the team, so he'll be fit when he joins you.

Re: Andreas Buchalakis

My positive is I was excited about the Kasami signing, thought he'd be brilliant for us and turned out to be shit. I expect very little from this guy so if he turns out to be good it's happy days!

Re: Andreas Buchalakis

Let's give this guy a chance to see him play before writing him off.

Also, can somebody tell TrentEndScott to post all his drivel in one post, instead of one every 3 posts.

Did I happen to mention his strong left foot?
