Missed a big chance on Sunday that would have drawn us level. Needs to be putting that away, but he'll not draw much criticism from me as I feel he tries his best every game and seems to care.
I think it's been said by many on this forum, but I'm just generally uncomfortable with where we are heading overall as a club. It's grubby, unprofessional, victim mentality and lacking class. We are better than this. Absolutely the decisions have been brutal against us, but let's not mask the...
I know it'll never happen, and the ship has sailed etc, but if I was the owner I'd be on the blower now to Stevie Cooper and apologising profoundly, offering him whatever wages he wants, and get him back in for next season. There is literally no better manager to get us out of the championship...
I genuinely don't see how a 6 - 0 defeat can do anything other than demoralise a team. If they need a hiding like that to get them fired up then something's badly wrong. Their confidence has to be low, we need to get the first goal, and as early in the match as possible too.
Let's just wait and see. Those saying Brentford are now safe are wrong. No-one will have expected Palace to win today, there will be twists and turns to come.
Same for me. Have thought all season that we would get out of it, I don't now. Just don't see us winning away games, would take a remarkable turnaround. Can see 6 more points max. Bloody championship again.
I don't see Nuno starting the next season as our manager, whatever division we are in. He'll walk or else get sacked pretty quickly after the season ends I reckon. Just my opinion, I actually know nothing.
I didn't think we were that bad, as someone else pointed out it looked like we literally ran out of steam in the second half. We do not need Gibbs-White or Wood being injured though. I know MGW got an ice pack coming off, but hoping that Wood was subbed just to get a rest
It will go to the wire. We've won 3 away games since our return to the top flight, we aren't going to magically win all three against Everton, Burnley and Sheffield Utd. A point tomorrow would be a brucie bonus
I like this. It seems to mean a lot to the players and owners, which has been called into question recently. Definitely a family type feeling there coming through.
If it was that easy for them to win four home games in a row then they'd have done it already several times this season. It isn't happening. Teams at the bottom very rarely go on four game winning streaks.
