Just did one of those predictor thingies. I ended up with us on 35 points and Luton on 30...

Had us losing to Spurs, City and Chelsea and beating Sheff Utd then drawing to Burnley, Everton and Wolves. That's probably a bit too optimistic.
We’re on 25 now - one win and 3 draws gives us 31?

think we’ll beat wolves and Chelsea at home - then get another win from one of the away games. 34 should be enough.

Today's results are shit, but hasn't really changed my opinion that 7 or 8 more points will probably be enough.

Whether we can get those points in the remaining games remains to be seen.
Yup.

Debatable,Ash-I think we’ll lose tomorrow and against Manchester City with Wolves and
Sheffield United probably the most winnable. The games against Everton,Chelsea and Burnley could go either way in my view.
It could well go right to the wire.

That would only give us 31 points-given our 4 points deduction.

Very true. I thought it was high.

Guessing the predictor site doesn't account for that.

It will go to the wire. We've won 3 away games since our return to the top flight, we aren't going to magically win all three against Everton, Burnley and Sheffield Utd. A point tomorrow would be a brucie bonus

Aye, the sad truth. That's why the Palace game was so huge to me.

Nowhere near over yet, but I think we've the tougher run in by virtue of the weaker teams being played away from home.

Chelsea does feel like someone we can spin over though.

Our problem is that deep down we’re kinda relying on a Luton / Everton implosion, so when they win, we’re in shit, because we all know that Forest on their day can mess up any week and against any opposition.

It doesn’t matter if Luton get smashed by City etc, they pick up points against teams like Bournemouth which we don’t.

We get some miracle results like Chelsea/Man U, then can’t beat anyone in the bottom 6 - huge problem. I think we’re more likely to beat Spurs tomorrow, than Wolves or Luton

Despite a recent upturn in form, in general Bournemouth are SO shit. It's criminal that we've only got 1 pt from the 2 meetings with them. Exactly the type of dropped points which will send us down unless we shift up a gear now.

Can't Play Left-Back
Before today's results I was thinking 32 points would probably be enough. So 2 wins and a draw out of Wolves, Everton, Sheffield Utd, Chelsea and Burnley seemed very doable (always unlikely to get anything out of Spurs and Man City). Not so sure now. We might need 3 wins, and one of them needs to be against Everton. I think we can do it but we'll likely need a result away at Burnley come the final game. Hopefully it'll still be in our own hands.

Please calm down - it is still in our hands.
We have decent fixtures to come to gain the points.
Take it game by game and don’t panic.
I’ll be at Tottenham tomorrow - hopeful as ever.
There will be more twists and turns to come.
No one knows how many points are needed.

6 more points puts us on 31…

Echo what Louth Red has just said. Luton, Everton and Burnley were all feeling like this after we played on Tuesday night, now its our turn again. We've been through this last year. Burnley are now gone in my unqualified opinion.

Everton have a points deduction in the post
And we're still not even in the relegation zone with a game in hand (f*** Tottenham)

Waka Waka at Turf Moor is the goal, still on course and still in our hands.

I have us going down on 33 points with Luton staying up on 34, after a final day switch when they beat Fulham at home and we draw at Burnley 🙁

Then our points deduction appeal gives us one point back, which future football fans would come to know as the start of the PSdeRby between Forest and Luton.
