Willian (BUPA suggestion)

Let this serve as a reminder to those taking the piss out of Brentford that rich young(ish) men prefer to live and work in London.
Just because Willian wanted to doesn't mean all do.

I'm a similar age to him and I honestly couldn't think of anything worse than living in London.

I'd much rather love near to a small city where you'd get a little peace and freedom, than move to London where you're going to be harassed all the time.

Anyway, he will be settled in London, if you have money it is a good place to be. His bird will no doubt prefer it as well. You need to keep the mrs happy.

I doubt he is living in a 2 up 2 down on the Old Kent Road.

He wouldn't have been able to sign for the Saudis if he joined us this window, would he?

Perhaps it's a gentlemen's agreement between Willian and Fulham - sign him up for a year so they can get some money for him. I expect there will be plenty more dodgy deals with Middle Eastern sides as PL clubs try to avoid any issues with FFP.

Don't think Saudis do rules.

Players can only be registered for two clubs that follow the same season dates.

We won't have registered any new players for the upcoming season yet so technically could flog him if their was a club who wanted to pay £30m for him.

I'm even more gutted we missed out on him now, couple of million for a player who cost nothing except a few weeks wages, nice way to get around ffp.

Did wonder why Fulham were still looking at Demarai Gray and Hudson-Odoi.

As every day goes by, it looks like the Saudis are going to have a biger and bigger effect on this window.

We literally cannot hold a players contract unless it is registered with the FA.

Ah. I assumed it meant registered as part of a squad - like Steve Cook wasn't from January, for example.

Half convinced this is a massive f*** you after the Fulham owner did the 'get away with murder comments and rejected the Mitrovic move.

'Rejected yeah? We'll take Willian too then. No fee but he'll earn millions. Keep saying no and we'll buy all the rest too... after your window closes.'
