Wilfred Ndidi

Just spent 10 minutes reading the Leicester site about him. To say it's not filled me with confidence would be a severe understatement.

The general consensus is that he hasn't been good for years, can't pass wind and that they cannot believe someone is actually paying a fee to take him. It's what this site would be like if someone came in for Shelvey.
Or what you would say about our starting XI every week

Not doubting that they are critical but I've spent two minutes on there and looked at what they said about Maddison.

The illustrated posts accompanied these stats, the first made at the end of the 21/22 season.

You can find as many comments praising Ndidi and wishing him well but not being happy he's joining Forest.

Maybe it all shows that Leicester fans don't know much about football.

Asking this on a Forest forum isn't going to get many objective answers 🤣 but I think it's a good signing as he is a solid player. With games at 100+ minutes these days and Forest being the injury list kings - it's imperative we have very good depth. I think Ndidi ticks these boxes. Pre-injury he was seen as a big big deal. Let's hope he recovers that form for the famous team.

To answer your question. There isn't a midfielder in the prem better than Yates. His only weakness is an inability to grow a decent Pirlo-esque beard.

It's no longer a starting 11 v 11 game anymore.
Re the 11 v 11 with Afcon will we manage 11 on the pitch and a couple of subs

I’m not exactly against the signing like others are but the fee shouldn’t be anywhere close to £20m

Nottingham's dirty secret
A vision.

A South American & Nigerian joint super club.

Bigger than the big 6. In fact they become the little 6 once dwarfed by our Latin American & African fan base.

Not to mention we'll have the best tunes in the dressing room of any club on the planet. By far.

I, for one, am in.

"Big" Wilf will be competing with Yates for more than just a midfield spot.

What f@#*@#*# add ons! These are experienced players playing in the championship. £20M is OTT for this pair.
Add ons if we want to appease Leicester for that little bit extra. Some of the fees for 'championship' players have been huge. Would think Leicester want min 15m for Ndidi on his own.

Is NDidi really that much better than what we already have?
If I remember correctly, he had a stinker of a game when we did 'em 4-1 in the Cup.
Did he figure in the 2-0 in the league last season, because i can't remember him.

Someone will say that Sheff Weds fans said this about Antonio to prove this absolute nonsense.

If he's coming I think Kouyate is probably off to Saudi. Him and Dominguez would make it 6 for the central midfield spots, not counting Aguilera.

Don't like the sound of $15m, but willing to give him a chance. Him and Iheanacho for 20 million would be magical.
