I think there's a lot of grey areas which surround Walker's contribution & potential to be honest. With him playing for Cov this season in this league we can at least get a proper sense of whether he's up to it at this level when the league starts.

I still dont get the Walker furore? Is he going to start instead of Grabban and Taylor? No is the answer to that so next question is will he sign a contract with is and be our third striker? No is the answer to that one. So the decision to sell Walker is pretty clear and not controversial to me.

Maybe I'm an old romantic harping back to Cloughie and the likes of young Nige, Parker, Gemill, and etc, but I like the idea of bringing talent through and giving them a shot even if it means a younger team than a team of older "more experienced" (and let's face it, older and in the Champ = not that good) players..
