I would sooner go and watch Ruddington Village for nothing, than pay to watch Notts Counteh.

I used to go to Notts quite a bit when I was a kid if Forest were away. That's when it didn't cost an arm and a leg to get in.

For what it’s worth, I paid $120 to watch the Detroit Lions in the NFL.

The Lions!

I used to watch Leicester United when I lived in Blaby. Father in law was part time groundsman when he retired from City.
The owner sold up and closed it all down in the end after having a big sulk because someone was shaggin his missus.

We probably have a few mutual acquaintances - my grandad knew every tradesman in the village.

I'm in no position to dispute any accusation of being slightly prejudiced when it comes to the Saddies, but to see some of their online fans choosing to "support" the USA last night because of the inclusion of Forest players in the Wales squad takes puerile narrow-mindedness to a whole new level I'd argue.

I reckon that Notts fans (and since Mel Morris took over Derby, we can include Derby fans as well) are the types of "fans" who would "support" the opposition against England if the England squad included a few Forest players.

Their hatred for another club most likely outweighs their love for either their own club or country. It's really rather sad and pathetic.

A little bit of concern is being expressed by our recent progress on their forum, with anger being aimed towards Southampton, best summed up by this.....

"Southampton Should lose their league status based solely on that pathetic effort tonight!"
Imagine the comments if we were to stay up,Otis.

To be fair, fans of non-league Notts County know a thing or two about losing league statuses...

Where's me hammer?
There's still a decent amount of them who'd get more satisfaction from us being relegated than their shower being promoted Cloughie.
It's why I have no comprehension of anyone that would think "Forest aren't playing ill go watch Notts"...I'm very meh about them but f*** that, they hate us.... and for that theres lots of other non league clubs to hand your cash over to who won't spit in your face.

It's the same thinking of having a drink in the boat club pre game...madness.

Poor old Notts

Lost 1 game all season & Wrexham can still go 3 points clear of them if they win their games in hand.

One of them is only gonna get a playoff place with 100+ points, brutal.

Hope County go up and then up again. Maybe even up again.

Obviously they need to stay being the second biggest club in the city but if we're Premier league and they're Championship or even League One that's brilliant for local football.

As long as they don't overtake us I'm happy for them to progress. My grandad was a County fan so whilst I wouldn't go as far as to say they're a second team I certainly don't want them to crash and burn like I do Derby.
