The Sadpies at Murder Lane (The Football League‘s NEWEST Club!)

After winning 7 on the spin, they've slipped up in their last couple in what's increasingly looking like a two horse race with Wrexham for the 1 auto spot. I suppose Chesterfield could spoil the party.

I think big spending Wrexham must be regarded as favourites for the title, but Notts look well set for at
least a home semi-final in the play-offs.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Notts v Chesterfield final which could be a very spicy affair.

Shows you how difficult that league is, must be so soul crushing.

They have been superb most of the season, they get 2 draws & Wrexham are top again.

They are scoring 2.6 goals a game!

It'll be interesting to see if the Saddies can hang-on to that lad who scores all of their goals when EFL clubs come knocking in January.

A record National League crowd of over 16,000 at Meadow Lane today-although they failed to score for
the first time in 39 home games in a 0-0 draw against our old friends Yeovil.

Could hear the Yeovil chants (and the Notts drum) on the walk home from town. Just glad it was us facing them at the WFCG

How many will return when ticket prices are back to normal?
Also, there will doubtlessly be plenty of Murder Lane regulars hoping that the £5 offer won't be repeated any time soon.

Even though my mates a season ticket holder at Forest he gets dragged along to Notts by his Hibs supporting mate who quite likes Notts. Oh and my my mate was originally a Thistle fan.
What a bloody mixture.

There are probably many people who can’t afford full price football tickets,Otis-especially in the current
economic climate.
The Forest ‘Kids for a quid’ promotions were always quite successful in increasing the gate-even when we
were really struggling.
Fair play to Notts I say.

My daughter's fella is a Notts fan, I give him a world of shit

Better that though than plastic scouser or city fan
Although I hate Notts for multiple reasons, I respect anyone who is a fan of a non "top 6" club as at some point they've known what it is to be really shit.

There is so much more affordable football across the country though at lower levels where the money is appreciated more and also those clubs do alot for the local community. Now the WCs on would be nice to see more attending these matches and just seeing what its like as the standard isnt that bad and you get a real feeling for the club itself if you give it a chance
