It's in League Two's best interests to offer another place. The only people it doesn't benefit are the shit teams in that league treading water every year.

The top half of the National League are probably the same level as the top half of League Two. I would say both Notts & Wrexham would be top of League Two by some distance with exactly the same players as well. The lack of promotion slots has created a bottleneck of good teams in the National League & crap teams in League Two.

I agree, but even as it is it’s better than it used to be-basically the old re-election system worked on the
‘old pals act’,whereby the chairmen of the clubs in jeopardy would buy the other chairmen a beer or two
at The AGM in order to ensure they remained in the league.
The likes of Bradford Park Avenue,Barrow and Workington seemed to escape the axe for years on
that basis.

Every time I find myself wishing them well I remember how annoying their fan base is.

I know a small number of Notts fans and all but one of them are absolute knuckle draggers who’s only interest in football seems to be hating the premier league reds.

f*** em. I hope Wrexham go up automatically, the program following them on the Disney app is decent too.

Another voice of reason.

They seem to be miles better than the rest though. Although the playoffs, form, psychology, pressure can all be funny beasts!

According to a Saddie neighbour of mine, they "wuz fuckin' robbed by the ref!". Not that he was actually there.
I've seen a video of the incident. They were definitely robbed of a penalty. The defender had the Notts player in a Vulcan death grip and shanked him to the floor.

Both notts and Wrexham drew today, so Wrexham still with the advantage.

I can see notts county getting a 100 points and not getting auto promotion.

Thre was a time when Crewe seemed to be there or thereabouts year after year after year.

I am Forest first and foremost, but I like seeing County doing well.
As a youth, my first serious girlfriend was a Notts fan. We would go together to see County when they were at home, and then Forest when Forest were at home. I hope County get promotion this year: a proper Club.
