My youngest started out a Man City fan and I managed to persuade him into letting that go and supporting Forest. The last few years have seen him nearly give up watching football for good. I feel like a worse dad than Fred West.

I'm most likely in the minority here but from what I've seen on twitter and some on here, this doom mongering conspiracy theory horse shit is embarrassing.

I understand the frustration but to blame everyone EXCEPT Murphy because it would be convenient for a certain narrative is beyond childish.

Crack open a beer or pour a glass of wine whatever you have to do to calm down.

I think the window has been a shocker though. We need more than what we have got. I do agree with your second line though, Murphy is as to blame as anybody. Although we don't know what has gone on behind the scenes? I think that is part of the frustration and we all like the idea behind Murphy.

We've signed an Oly player and one who has the same agent as Cafu, Dias etc. Them's the facts mate, and those facts would suggest that Dane isn't doing much of the signing at all, thus little has changed from what created this mess in the first place.

That was always going to piss people off. Folk are sick of being fed bullshit (right back from "commodity of time"), then seeing the opposite actions pan out.

I agree some are over reacting, but that's what happens when you're sat in the relegation zone 2 years running, and key areas which should have been addressed years ago are still not being addressed.

If you think this is bad, if we lose a few more it will get far worse.

I kind of agree, I don't think we were going to go crazy this window as I don't think we have the financial ability too but I also think we've moved on from the scatter gun approach of our past with Murphy. I do believe we have enough in our ranks to survive, maybe with some more additions in the Jan window.

I don't think the window hasn't been awful, especially with the additions of garner and Odeja but we could've done with more. We have to consider FFP as well, we can't spend willy nilly because our fanbase wanted a Maja type of signing.

Who knows, what if with the addition of Lowe, Garner, Odeja and with good competition at right back we can finally start climbing the table.

The great thing with Murphy is that he wants to start communicating with the fans more often so hopefully we'll get a statement from him on what happened today.

if we had a decent manager who had the squad playing to its potential and we had a window where we had kept all our major assets, re-signed our best perofrming loanee from last season and made a few astute additions either on loan or low fees, fans would be over the moon, we need Hughton gone asap and a decent manager, not another squad overhaul

We've signed an oly player who will give competition for Back, Tutu and Richardson. I don't see an issue with that, especially if he effectly replacing Gabriel and by his videos he looks more than capable to be atleast a notch better than Gabriel.

Silva, yes has the same agent as Cafu and Dias, thats it. The agent, Ulisses Santos, has basically all Portuguese players. It would be weird to not take advantage of agent connections, thats literally all of football nowadays whether you like it or not.

What if Xande Silva was scouted previously by our group and Dane went over his spreadsheets or whatever magic business intelligence software he uses and decided he could be a backup plan?

Wouldn't it be better if WE DIDN'T fling money around like moronic apes? Thats what this window seemed to be about.

Is it naivety to not automatically villainize our owners?

Exactly. I don't think our squad is terrible and the window itself wasn't horrible but I definitely think our manager cannot get the best out of them, full stop.

Your Honour.

I know my client was found with the murder weapon in his hand and blood up to his armpits but that is just a coincidence and there is absolutely no real evidence to suggest he was there to do anything more than change a lightbulb.

Mood? I genuinely couldn’t give a f*** at the moment, and neither could the club it seems.

Well we've seen this happen time and time again so lets give the new fellas some time. However, the fella that shouldn't be given any further time is still here- and has as much hope of rescuing the situation os Joe "I see no icebergs" Biden.
The club will not move forward from it's prevailing lacklustre bullshit without a change in manager, that needs to happen now. I couldn't give a f*** for his pedgigree, it counts for f*** all given the serving of utter shit he's served us over 50 games.
Finish it now- or lose supporters Forest.

I'm feeling really good. Just finished what seems like a mile of fencing , using a spray gun. Cheap from one of the stores and it was brilliant.

Football? Bloody hell!

Fill yer boots dude. Nice attacking 2-0 away win, followed by an appointment which seems to have kept most people happy too.

Not to mention some good statements which give us hope lessons have been learned, and that now it's only a matter of time before we start motoring again.

Mood = optimistic :nottsflag:

Can we just leave it as

mood = fickle

I think that's appropriate more often than not.

Prepare for the "We've got shit players, no manager could do anything with of this squad" gang, to piss on our chips if Cooper starts turning us around.
