I'm in an absolute mood now as Shiternational break is here AGAIN. Couldn't give a shiny shite about some two bob nothing games that UEFA has dreamt up in order to keep their own nest feathered. We've still got another one to go, 3 of them before Christmas is just ridiculous.

Absolutely.
Its unbalanced. I like internationals but 3 sets of glorified friendlies? Nah.
They've gotta give sides a chance to build momentum in the league.

I think it comes at a good time, we have a few injuries mounting up & with MGWs potential injury it will knock weeks off it so much so he might not even miss a game.

That game at Chelsea would have also taken a huge amount out of the players

Yep, agreed.

Chance for those on the fringes of the starting eleven who are not going away for internationals to work hard on their fitness as well: Jota, Awoniyi, Morato, Dominguez etc.

Oh and brilliant to see Kyle Ryde showing off his BSB trophy on the pitch at half time had no idea he was a forest fan if you haven't seen the final race that clinched him that championship I urge you too watch it

Can't Play Left-Back
The last time I felt like this would have been when I was 9 at the start of the 94/95 season, where we were newly promoted and went 11 unbeaten at the start of the season and were 2nd in the league. I thought we might win the league. Of course we had a terrible November and Man Utd and Blackburn pulled away eventually, but we were amazing that season. I'm older, wiser, and seen this club on its knees, and know that getting my hopes up is a fool's errand. But sod it, I'm feeling foolish. There's part of me (the part of me that remembers that hope untainted by cynicism) that keeps visualising Yates lifting that god awful tacky trophy in May. It's absurd I know, we'll probably end up 3rd again 😏

Whilst I'm looking at the table and can barely believe my eyes I'm trying to keep my feet on the ground. From the start I've had that warm fuzzy feeling in my water that this season is going to be a bit special, it has echoes in my mind of Stevie's first season. I was hoping we'd stay under the radar for quite a bit longer but I don't think we can any more.
