I think we’ve made a fairly decent start (par or slightly better) and the main positive is that we look competitive
and aren’t leaking goals right, left and centre. The negative would be we seem to be short of goals.
The next few away games (Chelsea,Leicester,Arsenal and Manchester City) look difficult so we really need
to sort our home form out.

The only thing that worries me is if Milenkovic gets injured.
He’s made of iron.

Nikola is more likely to injure the pitch.

The mood will depend on the Palace and Leicester games.

We have some fantastic results but have struggled in those ‘easier’ games.

If we lose against Leicester whilst not beating Palace things will get a bit dicey i feel

Weren't some people calling the game against Fulham as a "must win"?
It is a question of context.
When I suggested we were moving into "must win" territory, it was in the context of not having a win at the City Ground since last April, when we beat Fulham.
And the thinking behind that post was because, as we witnessed yesterday, the City Ground, when we are doing well is rocking.
Yesterday it was damn quiet, and the pressure on the manager and the players grows with every game we fail to win at home.
We are now 7 league, and 1 league cup without a win.
That is not good.

Expecting to beat every bottom half team is not 14th territory. On a par that will get you into Europe.

It's a good thing I wasn't expecting that then?

Mood - upbeat - not a great performance on Saturday but still think we have the squad to avoid relegation comfortably. Nuno's team selection was surprising - almost like he felt he had to give Awoniyi minutes but couldn't leave Wood out. Should have just picked our best side.

I admire your diplomacy, I couldnt decide between scandalous & negligent.

For me im starting to think we are getting established. More settled and hopefully 15th or above by the end of the season. At present this almost seems like a low bar to aim for. But its better than last season. The last 2 years have felt chaotic. But now it feels like we could beat anyone with a solid game plan and a bit of luck. we have a plan and away from home its working.

Some home wins would be awesome as well

But it feels like we belong.

Even though this is our third season back in the Premier League, it feels to me for the first time that we look like a Premier League side. We're far more competitive, we look like we know what we're doing, and I really do fancy us to give any side a good game. Long may it continue. The boys make me proud to be a Forest fan.

I can see us going to any ground in the country and getting a result. Mad to think that after last 2 years. Just hope we can find a way to win home games again
When we got Nuno in the comments from several Wolves fans were exactly this, that he had them believe they could go away and get a result anywhere.

If we can start getting a few wins at home. And can start and convert a few more chances then we’re are in for a good year.

We should enjoy this season. Hovering nicely in mid-table, players like MGW, CHO, Jota, Murillo, Aina, Moreno, Milenkovic. It might be the best season we have in a long while as no doubt many of this team will have Big Cup clubs sniffing around them. Murillo might well be in Madrid this time next year.

So, soak it in while they're here, we've seen through other clubs how easy it can be for a club to drop off when key players/staff get poached away.

at this early stages, the feeling is good 'cause it's where we are aiming for - mid table out of relegation zone but while we are hard to beat, we're a low scoring team that is too dependent on wood , a few bad results might drop us back down where we don't want to be so improvement needed on the attacking front to get goals other than from wood.
