It has happened in the past over here: the son of a previous owner, along with the DoF, got a bit greedy and ambitious with transfers and spent a shitload of money on overpriced transfers. When the owner found out, he kicked them both from the club.Imagine if Evangelos had taken a couple of weeks off on a Greek island somewhere completely switched off, recharging batteries, switched his phone off etc. meanwhile Miltiadis has nicked his cheque book and gone mental. Sorry about that dad I got a bit carried away.
Nigel Doughty bought David Johnson from Ipswich for Michael's birthday, he must have been about ten at the time.It has happened in the past over here: the son of a previous owner, along with the DoF, got a bit greedy and ambitious with transfers and spent a shitload of money on overpriced transfers. He also signed Earnshaw to appear even taller! (setting up the iconic picture post)Nigel Doughty bought David Johnson from Ipswich for Michael's birthday, he must have been about ten at the time.

That will never get old
I knew you wouldn't let me down, it must be in your speed dial of images!
Piggybacking onto this Bundersliga love-in; for the regulars over there, what's your opinion on Florian Grillitsch? Austrian international CM linked with Arsenal, Milan, Fiorentina and Leeds last month, but is still a free agent after not signing again with 1899 Hoffenheim. Looks a great ball player and defensive mid, but is he mobile enough for Cooper's midfield and that's why we haven't been linked, or perhaps he's out of our league?I really want us to get or at least enquire about Kamada from Frankfurt, He can play different positions in midfield and with last year on his contract, don't think would cost to to much. What do you think @Strummer ?
This is the best guess so far. Brilliantly anticlimacticI'd go for Hennesey; an anticlimactic piece of transfer business would be part of a good tease in my book.
To be honest the English Premier League is a mental League to get your head round. For some reason it’s the most popular globally and the money involved is absurd. Fair play to EM he has put his money where his mouth is (literally) and given us a fighting chance to compete. It shows how much faith he has in Steve CooperOne interesting aspect of your promotion is that I feel all of a sudden much less knowledgeable regarding transfer business. You've already spent more than 60m and the promised transfer budget of 75-100m now appears to be a reality rather than an empty promise (considering you still need to first rate midfielders and another forward). What the hell does 100m mean? I mean, I cannot even conceptualize such sums. You've moved beyond my ability to understand football money.
On the other hand he must be a real joker to give a signed Jersey and tease people for the transfer of a bench keeper.I'd go for Hennesey; an anticlimactic piece of transfer business would be part of a good tease in my book.
Best so far.Are we expecting a signing announcement tonight then, given this Tweet from Marinakis Jr?
Working on the assumption that it's pretty much impossible to sign a player without any details whatsoever getting out - even just as a sniff of a rumor - I'm going away from the playing side.
It's either the announcement that Stevie has signed his new contract or it's the announcement of the new shirt sponsor/deal.
Better to ask for forgivness than permission!Imagine if Evangelos had taken a couple of weeks off on a Greek island somewhere completely switched off, recharging batteries, switched his phone off etc. meanwhile Miltiadis has nicked his cheque book and gone mental. Yeah then winners find out they get GK shirts and all. Proper itI'd go for Hennesey; an anticlimactic piece of transfer business would be part of a good tease in my book.
Hi GBG, a question.
