Cheerio Serge. You surprised us all in the best way possible.

Cheers Serge, sometimes played like marmite but gave his all for the club. His experience and passion definitely helped rile the crowd up at times!

No impressed with losing Serge and Mangala
Neco and Montiel are not as good as Serge for various reasons.

Just think that's where we are as a club. Serge was gone at the end of the season and, if it nets us £5-600k in saved wages when we have cover in the position, it makes sense. Similarly, I would have loved for Orel to stay, but it does appear to be a good deal for us. And Nuno supposedly wants a more streamlined squad.

Montiel still hasn't played that much, really, so I can understand Nuno perhaps wanting to keep him around to see if the option is eventually worth taking.

Best of luck, Serge. You'll be fondly remembered for your leadership, tenacity and snake-hipped dancing.

My favourite thing about Serge is no matter when the camera decides to go to him he is either shouting at someone or talking to himself about something.

I'll miss him. Like Samba before him, he really added some personality to the team and made it feel like a unique squad.
Not to mention the fact that on his day he was an unbeatable right back.

It's really nice to be able to say to a player 'Thank you' rather than 'Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out.'

Now. Where's Harry Arter?

I think the midfield two will be Danilo and Sangare

Sangare's not been good enough, and I think Nuno will move away from Danilo.

It wouldn't surprise me if we close out the season with Yates and Dominguez as the pair.

Remember the 4-0 away at Leicester, when he came on at half time for his debut. Straight away you could see he was a premier league player. Pushing the team forward, gritty tackles and most of all being a leader. Cheers for all your help Serge as it definitely played a big part in keeping us up.
