Good luck Sam, wishing you all the best.

A scorer of great goals, hope the lad gets a bag full wherever he ends up .

Heffing Psycho!

Steve Chettle
Massively important player during the run in of the promotion season, not only did he get a bundle of goals thanks to his quick thinking in the box (and finishing ability of course) but he also won 3 or 4 pens because of it too, a real asset but unfortunately we couldn't play to his strengths as much last season. Paid back way more than we spent on him, good luck to him!

Cureboy

Viv Anderson
Good luck to him, never really got a chance in the Prem but a dynamite finisher in the Championship. Will always remember his hat-trick against Swansea.

I'll always maintain he didn't get a fair crack last season but the time is right for both parties.

Good luck in the MLS Sam, go smash it.

Seems a bit odd he's announced that when nothing's been mentioned as to what his next move is and technically he's still under contract; now one would imagine said would be imminent, and the MLS link has been mentioned, but still...

They’re Americans.

Were you expecting common sense and sensible stuff?

They are a bit weird, Americans.

Farewell, sweet Prince, off to „Ex-Players„ you go.

So long, and thanks for all the goals.

He will be remembered as a key member of the class of ‘22. Each and every one of them will always be welcomed back here.
Go and smash it over there kiddo!

Shearstone

Misses the champ
So undervalued even last year he was key in the draw v Brentford and the win v Leicester. One of Coopers few mistakes in my opinion especially as Ayew was shite.

Good luck to him, like a bit of country music so I guess Nashville are my MLS team now.

Brennan for me...

On Surridge, I'm not sure his finishing was quite up to the Van Basten levels that was made out but he was a good, honest pro. Certainly good enough for upper Championship clubs which would be about his ceiling.

Good luck to him in the future.
Brennan finishes well but actually I don't think he's the best finisher in his family let alone the club.

His dad definitely would have scored more in the PL if he was in the Ipswich team when they went up but I think they had other strikers like Marcus Stewart and Kuqi at some point and he was backup, But if he was on the end of a ball in the box with a shooting chance it would usually end up in and you can't say Brennan is that instinctive. There was a fair amount of him running behind the defence and slotting in for Bury, Ipswich and us but this was usually done more centrally and further forward than Brennan does for us.

Plus I get the impression his finishing is more learned and less instinct which for me puts him behind an instinctive finisher (such as Surridge or Taiwo) every time

Ayew was free transfer, PL experienced and played in tournaments at a point when we were short on options and he was available. Cooper had worked with him before and knew what he was getting, it was also a figure around the dressing room who could be drawn on for knowledge who had been in the position before. I wouldn't draw too much into the signing or the option but he was clearly also preferred to Sam but then Cooper had worked with them every day.

If we're drawing your Nashville love, we need to work on mine by selling a few to RB Leipzig
