Hopefully it will calm down when the players - like most young adults in the 20-30 age group - have been double jabbed. Given that the new variant has a shorter incubation then we'll probably know by the weekend how much it's spread.

Not totally unexpected given the Villa game and isolation. Can't be great preseason prep though. Wonder how training has been affected too.
Isolation period should be over by first game but not so confident about getting a result at Cov now.

I'd assume that CH will be trying hastily to arrange a behind-closed-doors game-or-two before Coventry, because yesterday's game at Villa and the Burnley match would have been vital in building fitness-levels in anticipation of Sunday-week.

Yes, but the season will be delayed for six months, and in that time frame Hughton will accept a job in the UAE and Forest will offer Steve Cotterill the chance to emulate the great Billy Davies by returning to the club for unfinished business.
