But each one is 45 mins to over an hour (bar the villa fan interview one)...

The previous week after Newcastle it was (each 40-60 mins):
immediate post match reaction
Are forest going down
breaking down the relegation battle
david de gea offer explained
preview for West Ham match

Surely these could be condensed?
2 a week, 3 if something big happens...
I can see why he'd do it if for example he gets paid £100 for every ad he does for the Trent Navigation. At 4 episodes per week plus memberships, let's say he's got 100 at £5 p/m and whatever he makes on views and membership then he's at least making a £30k wage. Very modest but it's a wage and he can build on it.

Possibly £100 a month for the Nav. Can't see a return on investment spending two grand a month to target at most the same 10,000 people each month.

I'm a member and I'm going to bump up my contribution to a fiver a month. Adjusted for inflation it's about what I used to pay for the Brian fanzine back in the day.

There's the Monday reflected view and Friday build up videos as they used to do on Garibaldi Red, as well as additional content. I haven't watched all the bits in between, but I've seen a fair chunk. I think the podcast is much better than it was a couple of years ago.

As a start up he seems to be doing ok with a variation on the thousand fan theory. If it had a wider audience you would want a more professional production, but I'm coming round to the idea of it being like a bunch of mostly blokes down the pub talking Forest.

I think Max is an excellent presenter on GR and Sarah works as a sidekick. What they are missing is someone who has played the game for Forest or is involved in the media as the third wheel. When they have got someone from the other part of the Reach/Live network for the opposition viewpoint I think that has added value.

I don't really have time for other podcasts such as Red Side of the Trent.

Growing up we had the Post and the Football Post, the couple of minutes of sport on the local news each night and the occasional musings of Brian to whichever part of the media he deigned to talk to. Mostly Sadler at The Sun.

We've now got forums and podcasts as well the pub and the argument comes down to can you have too much of a good thing?

I'm sorry, I can't make out who the people represented are and I didn't think it that funny anyway.

Definitely not up to his usual standard. Missed the target by some way, because it was so jumbled I had no idea what the target was meant to be.

The only bit that made me laugh was the Dyche picture.

I listened to the Forest Focus episode this week with Birtles.
I knew I shouldn’t have but couldn’t help myself - like gawping at a car crash. Birtles was trying to say that as the appeal would be completed after the end of the season the points would be taken off next season. If you are going to do this at least give the listener the respect of doing some basic research. Better knowledge and debate in the pub.

Birtles at times amazes me with how out of touch he seems with things.
As you say, theres probably better punditry in some pubs.

I feel bad saying it but Birtles is awful. I've got to the point of hovering over the Forest Focus videos on Youtube to get the silent preview, and if I see Birtles is on the panel I just skip it.

Episode 8 of Garibaldi Gazette was decent, about 22 minutes in one of the lads sang a fantastic chant that had Murillo Danilo and Taiwo with the song of “is this the way to Amarillo”.

Is this the way to our Murillo
Every night I’ve been hugging Danilo
Dreaming dreams of our Murillo
And Awoniyi who waits for me

Idk if the dude who sang it created this or he nicked it off of Twitter etc but I think that is a brilliant song. Eat ur heart out Matt Davies you aren’t singing that on Forest focus! lol only joking.

They nicked that off here, not Twitter!

Latest Forest Focus podcast initially started with a lot of anger and then seemed to simmer down and twisted towards a more positive outcome. I don't know what Forest they're watching, but I'm struggling to find any optimism at the moment.

Red side of the Trent is probably now my favourite podcast, but their man sure did come across as a bit of a self-hating simp on White and Jordan today.

Whilst having some good points specifying that we have to just get on with it, he seemed to use Talksport to ridicule fellow Forest fans and the owner when offering his opinion. One particular own goal was the reference to how our fans refer to the European cup, this was shortly after just using the European cup to underpin his argument when challenging Richard Masters' small club slur. 🤣

Sadly he did not mention how Everton tried to hide their indiscretions whilst we were fully transparent throughout when the Talksport narrative was woe Everton.

Finally he did not mention the committee's ridiculous statement that parachute payments have no advantage when it comes to this sanction. Thankfully a Forest caller made a better argument later on, even if it did sound like he was ringing from under water. 🤣

Disappointing from our spokesman.

Isnt this their current 'schtick'? They all regularly ridicule fans, distinguishing themselves as knowledgeable and balanced. And there's a lot of "im gonna get stIck on twitter for this" prefacing their comments.

It was really noticable it in the post Luton pod.

I suspect its a controversial-click-baity way to grow their pod.
