I only finally received the print when I asked Rob publicly about it on the 150 Facebook. Bit of a shoddy outfit for one that has seen fellow fans put a lot of money into upfront in good faith.

A little bit more communication from Rob would be appreciated. It's just a bit unfair to expect people to stump up £100 up front and then leave them to constantly remind you to send them things you have promised to send them. It's not as if people have parted with pocket change.

Yeah, I'm a bit fed up too. And it's not just the most expensive edition of this book that I've laid out for either - I've also bought the premium editions of all of the other Pineapple Forest books too (I even bought the author's book about Kate Bush!) So I'm about as loyal a customer as Rob could hope for, and yet like just about everyone else here I feel like I've been left hanging on for way too long now. Plus it's not as if it's difficult to send out a quick e-mail update to your mailing list every couple of weeks or so, is it? That's the weird bit - the total lack of communication. In 2014.

I'm not worried, but it has taken a very long time - much longer than any of the other books. And as we've laid out a fair sum of money well in advance, it's not unreasonable to expect at least a brief e-mail update once every few weeks to let us all know how it's going. It's just common courtesy, right?

I can't disagree with you, but I suppose we're all different. It just doesn't bother me, I get on with life and am pleasantly surprised when the book arrives out of the blue.

I assume he issued receipts for monies sent to him with a clear and concise description of goods you will receive,and that you have a returns address.
If so you are covered legally and it then just comes down to a realistic delivery date for supplying said goods.
By selling these books even in a small way he is now legally a book publisher and seller and liable to all and every consumer law in the EU.
He will know this and I am sure he will honour all of his commitments.
