But we wouldn't have been as vulnerable on crosses which would probably mean Everton wouldn't have peppered our goal with crosses all the match ultimately leading to them scoring.

Turner wouldn't have affected our inability to shoot straight either.

I’m fairness I don’t think Turner is saving the shot. The main problem is the complete lack of command both of our keepers have in the box. So it’s left to the defence all the time.

No fight no heart no desire - players look disinterested and clueless.

It's very hard to take any positives from that. There were long periods when we were truly dire and even when we were on top we lacked class and composure. We look every inch a team that is going to be battling for survival. I just hope cool heads prevail at the top and there is a realisation that SC is still the best chance we've got of staying in the Premier League.

That was f**king awful. I know it’s easy to say when you’re not the one on the pitch, but it does feel like we aren’t agressive enough in or out of possession. We try to play nice one/two touch football but then have no idea how to adapt to what’s going on around us, we are lacking that real leader who will make sure everyone is on the same wavelength

Everton looked so solid and organised, they didn’t create loads as they had DCL out, but they looked 10x the team we did.

Elanga and Murillo the only positive performances.

Just all over the pitch we weren’t good enough. I’d rather go back to playing 5 across the back at this point and hitting Elanga on the break, because that was the worst thing I’ve watched since Hughton.

I’m honestly struggling to find the words for that, honestly unbelievable.
