2 shite teams. One better than the other and the main difference is one keeper dominating his box and one flapping at everything

You really think that the keepers were the main difference?
Come on mate, they were better organised, they actually looked like they'd played together before and the biggest difference was that they had someone in midfield who can play football

That was a vile watch. I don't know what the answer is when our strikers are Wood and Origi. The return of the corner flag photo would not shock me if i'm being honest with myself.

Think i'll cut the internet off for a week

It's very hard to take any positives from that. There were long periods when we were truly dire and even when we were on top we lacked class and composure. We look every inch a team that is going to be battling for survival. I just hope cool heads prevail at the top and there is a realisation that SC is still the best chance we've got of staying in the Premier League.
no positives at all Johnny, very disappointing we could never get into the game. Cooper is still the answer but I fear for him after two home defeats.
We still have no central midfielders who take control of the game, will always be on the back foot then

The problem is the same thing, literally no idea how to build attacks, no idea how to create chances, today was so easy for the Everton defence, our players don’t have an attacking plan, MGW has been way off it all season, Elanga is trying to create but just isn’t quite there, we didn’t build one single competent attack, all of our chances came from luck or deflections. Sangara not good enough, Chris Wood is a vacant player, may as well start with Origi, because Wood can’t do the hold up play you want from him. So many long balls, because of ZERO movement or inventiveness from midfield. Today was the worst I’ve seen us this season

A team with no patterns. Outplayed week in week out. Players left doing all by themselves. I could go on over and over. Some odd wins papered over the cracks but the truth eventually comes out. Thanks for the memories Coops, but it's time to say goodbye.

Lets not kid ourselves we are shite, lack of movement, lack of passing ability and always 2nd to the ball.If say Burnley or luton manage to get a run going we are pretty much fooked. We will hopefully finish 4th from bottom.
Only positive Murillo and mangala the rest looked very much like championship players at best..

Well I didn't think we were THAT reliant on Awoniyi but we look a totally different team without him. Relegation will be avoided but not by much.

Also, can we get the “staying up” thread renamed back to “staying up” we need all the help we can get.

I think following the Chelsea game we’ve been worse than Luton, I wouldn’t be surprised if the bottom four are the newly promoted teams and us - and I think we’ll lose in the return matches against them.

Desperate to get rid of Origi (and a couple of others) and buy one fit striker of decent quality.

Don't really get Chris Wood, he doesn't win any aerial battles (Tarkowski had a easy day) and we know he isn't mobile. Bring a youngster in for fucks sake, got to be better surely, only has to run around a bit to be an improvement

I agree put Murillo up front.

I'm afraid I completely agree 100%. Coops always talks about 'moments' but we are simply a team of 'moments'. That is not enough and we need fluidity and incisiveness coached into the team. they looked clueless. again.
