I still think the timing is terrible. There's not been anything about the coaching staff..........who is actually preparing the team for Saturday? If we lose Saturday the new Head Coach will have a difficult job turned in a very difficult job........Newcastle away, followed by Man U at home....as others have said the atmosphere could turn very toxic. In the Times there's mention of the number of players brought in this past summer..........Cooper apparently only wanted only 3 or 4,,,,,,,the article also said Steve Cooper & the owner weren't on speaking terms......that's ridiculous in any business.

Going to be a strange atmosphere for sure. It's been a brilliant, emotional journey under Cooper and felt like everyone was in it together which helped to create some amazing atmospheres and results. Me and my lads all feel very sad about Cooper leaving but the youngest (9 years old) said this morning that he almost feels relieved that we can just go to the match without worrying about Coops losing his job anymore. It suddenly feels less important and less exciting. I'm sure we will all be fully into it as soon as MOK blares out and we kick off. Hopefully.

You're right, it's a surprise that Cooper wasn't sacked before now. The Owner makes the decisions, if you don't like it you know wheat you can do.

That's the harsh reality of working for a billionaire.

It doesn't reflect well on EM at all. But hey, it's his train set.

The atmosphere is going to be absolutely poisonous if we don't win this.
Why?
We would probably have lost under Steve Cooper as Bournemouth are the form team, and Forest are without a decent goalkeeper and have no striker.
As it has just been officially announced Nuno has taken the job, and nothing has changed in terms of player availability he may have as much chance as Steve of getting a result.
However, the players we have brought in but who appear to have under-performed under Steve may take the opportunity to show what they can do, and we might even sneak a surprise win.
At least the uncertainty over whether the owner will act or not has now been resolved.

If he gets them all kicking in the right direction then it'll be infinitely better than the Everton game.

More tickets available due to returns from Bournemouth! Hope they get snapped up and we continue to show support for the team.

Yeah my guess is similar to yours. Though I think he might go for Vlachodimos, and might keep Williams at RWB (I certainly would). Outside chance of Tavares at LWB too for obvious reasons, depending on how he shows in training this week.

Yeah similar to this, though think he will go with Wood up top, and Dominguez and Niakhate might get a look in.

I wouldn't like to predict his team, as he's probably seen different things in training than we've seen in matches. But, I can only speculate that he'll be thinking "Who the hell do I put up front?" and "Which one of these Keepers is going to let me down least?"

Bournemouth will be quite glad that this is before the transfer window. If we'd been able to acquire Jonas Wind to play up front, he would have completely destroyed them.
It's at home though

As a pro GK Nuno is not going to get on with the Greek.
He is rooted to his line FFS.
Schoolboy stuff.

Both him and Turner are No. 1 for their countries, and were previously employed by Benfica and Arsenal respectively. These are not amateur outfits. And yet they look worse than your average championship goalie. Baffling stuff.

1 Turner: Arsenal were happy to ship him out, realising he would not be even a number 2 at the emirates;
2 Odysseus: he may have been at Benfica, but wasn't the number 1, and Benfica are a team where the emphasis is on dominating other teams so they don't rely on a top goalie. As for number 1 for Greece... not necessarily one of the greatest teams in world football.
Turner cannot cope with pressure and can't kick. both fundemental flaws in a keeper.
Odysseus has yet to make a save and a Premier standard keeper needs to pull of some world class saves, particularly in a team like Forest.
