It's recognised Bundesliga titles. A star each for 3, 5, 10, 20, 30. First of the 31 titles one didn't count as it wasn't the Bundesliga.

Sorry, that’s not correct - when it comes to stars, all German titles (including pre-Bundesliga) are counted.
My local side has a star above its Badge, as they were German Champions in 1950, 1952, 1984, 1992 and 2007.
Those first two pre-date the Bundesliga, which kicked off in 1963.
Bayern now have 32 domestic titles, but only the first - 1932 - pre-dates the Bundesliga. You only get a star when you complete five championships, so they won’t get a further star until they win a few more (which they inevitably will, of course).

I don't mind them using real shaped people in the marketing photography, a few teams have done it. At least you get a realistic idea of how it actually looks.

Official answer from VfBˋs Mitgliederamt, Yes, the Star is for three Bundesliga titles. Apparently, the rules changed in 2018 (again) presumably to stop Bayern shirts looking like the night sky.
^^ That is the correct scheme now.
The first VfB Shirt i bought when I moved to Germany (2016) had a gold star above the badge, and that was confirmed by the Mitgliederamt to be a reward for five German championships. But this has now changed so Stars are only for Bundesliga titles, but VfB still keeps the star (because they won three Bundesliga titles, as per previous post).

Yeah, there are probably a few who get drawn in by the actual models. Maybe this will sell to a few who never usually get it because they're a bit self conscious.Not great for actually selling it though
Disappointing main kits so far, with the exception of a couple. The best ones I think have been macron, which gives me hope
