Whenever I’ve used iFollow, I’m normally still trying to set it up at about 3.15pm.

My favourite is paying for it, then continually being asked to sign in every time

This is true.

Also, the fact that I can't listen to the audio commentary through the app for over a year shows how they just aren't interested in fixing a main part of the app.
I've complained several times and every response is that they are working on it and for now I should use the audio commentary via a Web browser. But I can't use an adblock browser because they don't like that.

It's a real pain and I end up jumping through hoops every Saturday. The only 'reliable' way I have found to get the audio commentary to play is to try and play it first time (it won't play usually) then go through a loop of stopping the app and trying to play it again, after a few attempts it usually then works fine.
Going through customer services/support is a mare tbh, they are not helpful in the slightest, even getting a password reset can take several attempts & days.

I have a question about the video stream though as I have never used an ifollow one before, only audio. Does it have the Radio Nottingham commentary over the stream, or is it just one guy doing the commentary completely separate to the radio?

Has anybody received login details/a code for this yet as mentioned on the season ticket refunds? Whenever I've used iFollow in the past I've had problems regularly so unless they've improved massively I think they will really struggle with the demand of a stadiums worth of fans logging on...
No, I haven't received anything yet

Also it seems I may not actually get a code, when I logged in there was three options: Donate, Cup Tickets and Credit, Refund. I presumed you had to choose one so I said donate. Do we think this has now forfeited my iFollow code?

Donate was a separate option to ifollow. Now the refund option isn't there either, only 2 options, donate or cup tickets.

“Please be aware that the deadline to choose one of the alternative options (either option 2, 3 or 4) is 12pm on Friday 19th June.

Supporters who then select an alternative option will have their code de-activated before the game against Sheffield Wednesday.”

As per the above, those who selected 2,3 or 4 will have their code de-activated before the match.

My understanding is that the Ifollow option is the default option, therefore you do not need to make a selection if that is the option you want.

The other three option were listed in case you preferred one instead of ifollow.

The activation code was sent out by email this afternoon

Do you need to a paying member on iFollow before you can buy the £10 match pass to watch the stream?

I stopped the the subscription in March, and will no doubt buy all the streams. I don't need all the video interviews, highlights and extras that the membership gives you access to.

If you have an account set up it shouldn't be a problem.... But even then it ain't exactly a fluid transaction.

I'm looking forward to the inevitable breakdown against Wednesday, cause if Ifollow can't handle a couple of thousand throughout the season without issues, it'll be a laughing stock.

So the code arrives...

we strongly advise that you create and activate your iFollow Forest account well in advance of Saturday's game at Sheffield Wednesday so that any potential issues can be rectified and ensure you don't miss a minute of the action.

After reading the pages on this thread I fully expect this to be as absolute breeze.

Does the code arrive on your own personal email or on your Forest account one?

Own personal one To be fair there is a trouble shooting link and also and email address if you've still got problems.

I'm not sure why anyone would want to watch a live sport on a stream with huge delays. 9 games left, 3 of which are already confirmed for Sky and no doubt more to come. Radio Nottingham for the rest of the time for me.

It’s a valid point, but - unfortunately - as Colin Fray‘s Transmitter doesn’t reach to Germany, I don’t really have much of choice...

Delays aren’t that bad tbf, and I’m hoping they continue to use RNS commentary on the streams

Naughty.

Sending people a code when they've asked for a refund is naughty.

The little clause in the emails, "if you use this code you'll forfeit your refund " tells you it's a deliberate ploy to tempt people to use it.

What the club SHOULD have done is allow people actively to select the ifollow code option, rather than leaving it as an unelectable default.

If you want a code, ask for a code, get a code.
If you want a refund, ask for a refund, get a refund.

With the lack of emails from the club (which is bordering on scandalous) what they're actually doing is saying "unless you are plugged in to social media, you won't know about the refund option and so after a week of not telling you anything, we get to keep all your money, by default."

Given the vast numbers of the fanbase that don't follow twatter, ltlf and such, many thousands will be unaware of any refund options, while Forest are sitting on their mountain of cash waiting for the quietly-spoken deadline to pass.

As was written earlier: forest have the opportunity to do this well, or to do it badly and rub a lot of people up the wrong way.

Perhaps in the same way as there is a much-ridiculed "D*rby Way" we should now be talking of "the Forest way" - a method by which things are done in the most inept, incompetent, badly-communicated (one could almost call it devious), hamfisted and amateurish way...

Losing around £3m per month, I doubt Forest are sat on mountains of cash... and if they are most of that cash will be from the owner, the media and some from the fans.
Other than that your post is spot on!
Shameful way to treat the fans.
